But why has he not phoned any of us up and told us that personally?
11 January 2019 at 2:41 pm #175060But why has he not phoned any of us up and told us that personally?I’ve heard he’s binned yours for “Cook out” on every thread.
11 January 2019 at 2:57 pm #175062That’ll be why nobody on here ever hears from him then
11 January 2019 at 3:57 pm #175067Come on Sunderland you’ve got to be having some kind of a News Years hangover, 200k ?. You wouldn’t get an Academy player from Peterborough for thatIf that player Bournemouth signed last week from Liverpool who has made 5 senior starts for them & scored 1 goal is worth £19mill, Sunderland really are taking the pish with that offer & I hope Latics treated it with the derision it deserved
11 January 2019 at 4:20 pm #175068Obviously press bollocks looking at Cooks press conference before tomorrow. Grigg can’t be going anywhere.
12 January 2019 at 3:42 am #175083I’ve a feeling he’s going nowhere simply because Sunderland made a derogatory offer.
Now if they added an extra zero on the end would he still be here ?. As it stands he’s third choice up front. Mark my words, if Sunderland upped the offer I think we’d take 500k-750k still a p*ss taking amount of money as he’s clearly not in Cooks plans.
Cooks full of sh1t full stop, he had to come out and say something before the fans rebelled at the thought of losing thier best forward for pennies while he’s still under contract in the mist of a relegation battle.12 January 2019 at 11:52 am #175084Listening to cooks press conference yesterday, im taking it that grigg is going nowhere.
12 January 2019 at 12:42 pm #175087Grigg is and will be our first choice striker when he isn’t carrying a knock hence why he was picked every week until his injury
14 January 2019 at 10:49 am #175193I’m not so sure he is the 1st choice striker. It’s not a case of “He’s going nowhere” but more a case of “Make a decent offer then we’ll talk”.
I’ve a feeling we haven’t heard the last of Sunderland whether they make a decent bid or he goes out on loan. Now that Pilkington is here it’s pushing him further down the pecking order to our forth choice forward which is exactly what happened Saturday.
14 January 2019 at 11:15 am #175194Pilkington played on the wing – somewhere i’ve never seen grigg play.
14 January 2019 at 9:10 pm #175205Pilkington is a left winger who was called on by Cardiff to cover as striker when they had an injury crisis.
14 January 2019 at 9:47 pm #175208I see Sunderland are back in for him with an improved offer. I reckon If it hits 500k he’s gone. Not a bad bit er business for a 27 year old international player in his prime age wise and a goal scorer when he gets service.
15 January 2019 at 1:19 am #175212No chance £500,000,£1mill+at least
15 January 2019 at 1:52 am #175213Windass cost £2.5 million!
15 January 2019 at 5:40 pm #1752212 weeks left and I for one think it’s looking increasingly likely Grigg is going. His non participation on Saturday was for me the final push he needed. No idea what this improved offer is but you can guarantee it’ll be massively below his worth. Totally agree with cup winners .Try replacing our only proper goalscorer with the kind of money we’ll get for him. Cook stated his best results have come with Grigg and Powell in team so with both nearing a return what the f### is point in allowing him to go? Simple, just tell em to piss off ,he’s not for sale.
