the problem when employing any friend or family member is the emotional bond tends to cloud ones judgement sometimes,

It would be very interesting to know the truth behind Graham Barrow being appointed

Especially with his reserve team leading the way in their league

I hope we do sign him, along with another left back, attacking midfielder and maybe dare I say a forward who is used to playing 4-2-3-1

No!but could be make or break for Bobby!.

The message that “Roberto Martinez is going nowhere” doesn’t seem to get through to some people does it!!!

I don’t think my missus is a liar why would she tell lies about shoppers at robin Park?. It depends on what time you went VAT. Just out of curiosity did you take care walking about and did you get home safe and sound?. I presume yes otherwise you would have mentioned it. Its not hard is it if you take your time.
There are countries who live in conditions like this for 9 months of the year FFS.

The ammount of shoppers was like 9.30am on a Wed morning, as opposed to a Saturday afternoon. I was there between 1pm and 2pm. Prime time.

I very nearly fell a couple of times. And that was with big hiking boots on.

Mentioning other countries, I think that as a country as a whole, we need to start preparing better for this weather, as our winters are getting worse due to global warming and a changing economical environment. Its getting colder and colder each year.

I heard yesterday that European snowboarders are starting to come over here when it snows, as our artificial ski slopes are fantastic. Seriously. :D

From a football perspective,. all these cancellations will work towards giving people like Sepp Blatter further excuse to back their plans for a winter World Cup.

Honestly, it was right to postpone yesterday.[/quote]
Not a prayer that snowboarders will come over here as the cost and snow is better in 13 different countries in Europe.
Very bad example, before you get off on one, I have skiied and snowboarded for over 30 years and as much as I loved Aviemore (and Highfield Grange Road today), the UK is a long way from providing good SKIING/SNOWBOARDING facilities.

getting rid of any player not on minimum wage – bringing in second rate players and continuing to employ an imbecile as manager because hes the peoples champion.

    2nd rate players like:
    Antolin Alcaraz
    James McCarthy
    Victor Moses
    Mohamed Diame

    James McArthur(?)[not seen enough of]
Franco Di Santo(?)[had a price and so must have something]
Mauro Boselli(?)[had a price and so must have something]

George Bush and Barack Obama somehow ended up at the same barber shop.

As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken. The barbers were even afraid to start a
conversation , for fear it would turn to politics.

As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Obama in his chair reached for the aftershave. Obama was quick to stop him saying, ‘No thanks, my wife Michelle will smell that and think I’ve been in a whorehouse.’

The second barber turned to Bush and said, ‘How about you sir ?’ Bush replied, ‘Go ahead; my wife doesn’t know what the inside of a whorehouse smells like.’

    A – Nicholas Anelka
    B – James Beattie
    C – Andy Cole
    D – Didier Drogba
    E – Robbie Earle

Pretty sure about Anelka and Cole. Beattie and Earle are wild guesses and Drogba could well be beaten by Dion Dublin… I haven’t a clue how many Dublin scored. but I bet it’s close.

Surely blunder of the weekend must go to Hendry Thomas, for his his close range gal scoring ability.

Did we sign the right player? Is there another Boselli out there banging them in?
The one who was a record signing for us is absolute wank.

The whole team is wank. Going down, MARTINEZ OUT.[/quote]

Is that the same as being a Wigan Athletic Fan, or do I have to slate everything about Latics and everybody associated with Latics to be one.

Can you clarify? (you notice I have put this as a question and not a statement)

in reply to: Latics Players A-Z (Surnames) #49515

I really thought that this would be quite simple and fun, oh boy :?
