As we don’t currently have a manager I wonder who made the decicions?
Uncle Dave doesn’t miss a trick does he. ;)
Early Dads day pressie for me today. The twin DVD set includes the whole of the semi final and the final.
£16.99 @ DW Sports. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I suppose you will watch it with remorse judgeing on your latest rsmbling about all things Wigan ya fecking pratt [/quote]
This is my first post for some time.
If you would like to point me in the direction of said ramblings I will endevour to repond accordingly !
Oh and it’s prat !! :)
He’s probably the cheapest option.
Forsythe?
Springsteen?
Rioch?
Almighty – he would be good !! B)
Well at least we can’t get lumbered with him now !!!! :)
.Or how about Rafa? ;)
He’s been appointed Napoli coach this afternoon.
Well he’s coached Utd to win quite a bit!!
On 18 January 2007, Meulensteen rejoined Manchester United as technical skills development coach mainly to work with the first team. After the departure in July 2008 of their assistant manager, Carlos Queiroz to Portugal as their national team manager, Meulensteen took over as first team coach, with Mike Phelan being promoted to assistant manager. Both assumed their new roles on 13 August 2008.[3]
Since his appointment as first team coach, Rene has helped Sir Alex Ferguson secure the Premier League title in 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11 and 2012–13; the Community Shield in 2008, 2010, 2011, the League Cup in 2008–09 and 2009–10; the UEFA Champions League in 2007–08 and FIFA Club World Cup in 2008.
Impressive eh?
Lets hope he can coach defenders :cheer:
Is it just me but who the hell is …………….Rene Meulensteen 9/4 FAV ???
Never heard of him!!! :(
The only reason I wanted him to stay was hopefully to help keep key players.I have to agree with that.
As you say I can see him coming back for Jimmy Mack and young Callum. Maloney? Not sure due to his age.Hope not. We’ll need him.
If I’m honest I wanted him sacked after the 4-0 home defeat against Blackpool 2 seasons ago.I had a rant published in The Observer stating as such.
All this pretty passing football is lovely but not at the expense of actually scoring goals. We weren’t direct enough at times As for the defending don’t even get me stated on that.Schoolboy stuff on so many occasions.Pity he didn’t spend the money shelled out on Boselli on someone who could defend a bit
Just seen Whelan on Sky News. Can’t believe this quote from him – “Roberto wants to leave because he doesn’t feel equipped to take Wigan Athletic back into the Premier League.”
Why Not ???? I thought he was supposed to be full of self confidence !!
What a load of bollox – Everton fans will love that.Hope they remember that when they’re in the bottom 3 at Christmas !! ;)
He should have at least had the integrity to stay and try and get us back up again!!
Three words spring to mind.
Sinking ship.
RAT !!!!!
Apparently Goodison Park has been surrounded by fans with 10 foot barge poles.
Mark Hughes has announced he’s interested in the Managers job !!
I just want to enjoy the day.
I watched my first FA Cup Final in 1966.I’ve watched everyone since bar Utd thrashing Chelsea 4-0 – family wedding.
In my wildest dreams I never thought I would ever go to an FA Cup Final let alone watch Latics in one.
My head says we’ll lose but my heart says we’ll scrape a one goal victory.I just hope Tevez has an off day for a change. The ugly little sod always seems to score against us.
But I’m determined to enjoy every moment of this historical event and I’m sure there will be a few tears when the teams come out.
Fingers crossed for a great day, NO RAIN and a Latics win.
We’ve had the same guy in front of us in the South for 8 seasons. He waves his hands about, points all the time – not sure at what, slags off Gomez no matter how well he plays and shouts “Get him booked” every tackle made by the opposition. :(
Rafa is out of a job !! :)
Uve rosler, for meNot a bad shout that.
Gus Poyet for me. Talks a lot of sense and he’s done a great job at Brighton.
For all his faults as a defender, the second goal showed that if you are positive and come forward with pace you can create chances and actually score a bloody goal.
Why don’t we do that more often instead of trying to bore the opposition to death with pass after pass?
