Improved by half time. 62% possession and a single shot on target. Seems things haven’t changed much yet.

Grigg off Davies on – yep no change !!!!
1-0 Wigan Gomez COME ON YOU LATICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like Sam Allardyce would consider “Little” Wigan even if we could afford to pay him. Dream On. !!

The man who could and would have got us moving in the right direction has been snapped up by Cardiff.

There are no managers available with the nous and experience needed if GC was sacked – which he won’t be at the moment ‘cos he’s Sharpy’s mate.

Its similar to last seasons doom and gloom at this stage. However we were drawing games then before everything suddenly clicked into place and we started to dominaste and win games.

However this league is finding out some of the players – there are some big sides out there and Perkins looks like a 12 year old boy sometimes. Power is also struggling to adapt to this level. Wildshut when he plays is awful. Speed but nothing else. Powell?? Well if he was half as good as he thinks he is would be OK at best.I’d play Gomez every time.

GC needs to decide on a set team and system and stick with it. We need some stability.
If we get that then I’m sure things will improve and we will start to move up.

Mid table at this point will do.

After 14 games last season we were 7th on 23 points! ;)
Really??

Makes mental note to check dates in future !!!!

You know what I mean – Everyone was moaning when we were drawing all those games.

Its an age thing ………………….. :silly:

……GC will not play 4-4-2 and his reason might surprise a few of you. :woohoo:

    We’re doomed !!!

A reet dick but one of the finest midfielders ever for Latics.

Well apparently according to the BBC report he’s a former Hull and Fulham player. He played 23 times for Hull and 39 for Fulham …………..

He made 145 appearances for Latics and 66 for Peterborough.

The media really piss me off.

Seven of the starters weren’t even at the club last season. I’m not surprised there’s no cohesion. Too many changes too soon. Also the spine of last seasons defense is missing – 1 injured the other to Charlton plus no Perkins at the moment. Also why is that clown in goal? He is hopeless at any level……… :(

Apparently though Gary was “pleased with the performance”???? Now where have I heard that before?

    Planet Studios Tsivili – Zante.

Brilliant place with its own Sports Bar. Wide screen tellys everywhere. This is our 3rd time. They even put Wigan v Stoke on the big screen for me on our first visit on the Saturday afternoon (2-2) and the 4-1 League Cup game at Forest the folowing Tuesday. I’ll ask about the QPR game but I’ll be surprised if they can find that for me. ;)

Only crap teams from crap clubs play 442 nowadays. Ancient managers who think its 1960.

    Like Leicester you mean??

Argus the answer is blowing free and I am sure the king will come.
