That article wants pinning to Jason Scotland’s shirt peg tomorrow morning at training. I’ve not a problem with any of our fans slating him on here for his finishing ability as he deserves more grief than he has probably had but we have to draw the line somewhere when the national press are having a pop at our players. Time to bite your lip if/when he misses another chance even if it’s the hardest thing to do and get behind him.
We’re in trouble because we’ve lost Hugo in the head, looks weak and lacking in confidence in front of goal. If only he looked half as bothered as Charlie.
To be fair we are more inclined to class misplaced passes and pathetic first half showings as being our ‘usual selves’. It’s when we play well that we seem to be surprised these days.
Nothing working for me, and I’m on 50mb!
The only decent thing Fig has done this year is the wonder-strike at Stoke. His general defensive positioning has been shocking and he’s gone to sleep quite a lot this season. There’s definitely been a big drop off in performance from last season, maybe because there’s no competition for him? He was definitely guilty again of leaving acres down his side on Saturday when their right side and Lee Hughes drifting out there had a field day.
It’s a sad state of affairs if that Mail story is true and makes a mockery of Roberto’s claims about him being happy here because he has a sense of loyalty to us. It needs nipping in the bud quickly though or things like this gather pace and cause friction in the squad which is obviously there amongst some of our bretheren!
I think we sent Stuart Whittaker back to Bolton early from his loan spell because he was so bad. Also Graham Branch was garbage when we got him in on loan.

Definitely Boyd, I’d read he was in Manchester and thought on the off chance him being in the area he might drop in for a chat with Roberto.
Boyd had a hernia op sometime last week. Interestingly, Neil Warnock said Victor Moses has probably played his last game for them and he can’t keep turning clubs away for his services. We’ve been persistently after him and its always something players seem to mention on signing. I don’t think we’ll sign him but it would be a nice surprise.
Did Andy Mutch score for us on debut, possibly at Deepdale?
He a no-risk signing to boost numbers. If he does well, we benefit, if he doesn’t, then he won’t be going to the World Cup. He’ll just replace Amaya in the pecking order anyway.
How long have you posted on CL James? You’ll be providing a bit of ammunition for the older ones who’ve posted on here
It was aimed more at the other character Griff derailing another thread :geek:
I’d be surprised if he signs for us. Bolton or Blackburn are more likely in my opinion.

Dont post your opinions on here, apparently only Griff can do that, and he doesn’t like it when others do.[/quote]
FFS take your petty gripes to a private message or something.
It was in the gossip column last week. Don’t think he’d leave Newcastle for us, regardless of their problems.
Keiren Westwood seems to be highly rated and getting good reports for Coventry. I honestly don’t see what the fuss is about with Kirkland, when he does make one of his great reaction saves he struggles for the next ten mnutes, followed by whincing after every kick.
