I’ve seen better ‘keepers’ int cowshed at 3 in the morning.
Tackle
Lost count of the amount of great saves Ali has done for us… Two mistakes in a week and his ability is being debated?
I’m struggling to remember a better keeper for us? :silly:You’ve got a bad mem…………err………what was I saying?
Fell walking for me.
I’d take more care in the future.
Terriers actually :PYes, I thought so, udders would be more apt for the milk cup ;)
Well, we’ve got Charlton away, could have been a better draw, but at least we’ll have a real go at it, and a couple of our first team should be back fit for it, come on you …………udders??!!
A barrel of laughs today, John :)Well it gets on my tits, that’s all. Surely they could have a proper go at a trophy aswell as the grind of the league?! But we know they won’t, especially after the Bradford debacle, I’m depressing myself just typing this, bollocks to it, I’m supporting some random team this year, Huddersfield Town, they’ll do, there, I feel better now!
Really doesn’t matter does it?
Sad really, but we all know that it won’t be taken seriously, which is pathetic really, when part time teams can have a go, but it’s deemed a hindrance to a top flight professional outfit, why don’t they be really honest and not enter it? Saving fans the bother of paying for tickets and travel and watching the draw.
This should be moved to the non football section, as the FA cup has as much relevance to Wigan athletic as the Super Bowl, we’ve as much chance of winning that.
“I wouldn’t take any other keeper to replace Ali and that’s how much we rate him,” Martinez insisted.
“He’s the perfect goalkeeper for ourselves – he’s someone who can fit in in the way we want to play.”
How anyone can not see the difference between the above comments and “I wouldnt swap him for any keeper in the world” is beyond me….
Sounds the same thing to me Salford, but as you say, it must be beyond you.
Okay I will point out the instrumental part of Roberto’s comments.
He’s the perfect goalkeeper for ourselves
Roberto’s comments indicate he is a great keeper for us and in reality it would be damn hard for us to do better!
Does not mean he would not swap him for any keeper in the world.
Salford, I know you like arguing, but are you on a wind up?
Bobby saying “I wouldn’t take any other keeper to replace Ali”, surely means any keeper? If he is telling the truth, one can only presume any keeper in the world, unless he means any keeper from Jupiter or Mars?
I’d give it up now, you’re wrong, take it on the chin and find another thread to argue on ;)
Good job really isn’t it?
So Arkys not just a prolific multi poster, he’s also very good at photoshop, the way he’s got that pike in there instead of the corned beef baguette he was holding is top quality, as is the airbrushing of his belly and the reduction in the size of his ears.
Well done son.
Lugworm
Pack it in Arky, it’s not funny.
Maggots
Because its got Liverpool in it?
Do you honestly believe he didn’t hold the shot because there’s no comp for his place or the power of the shot just squirmed ou his reach, not every goaly saves ever shot, holds every effort or catches every cross, just like a striker doesn’t convert every chance.
You must realise that Filmoss tries to wind folk up and obviously you fell for it what fillip knows about football you could write on the back of a postage stamp
And still have room for the encyclopaedia brittanica ;)
Ahh…….the irony
