So you reckon everyone who watches this crap are on benefits then?
Your post was going well until you spolied it with your usual characteristic drivel.

      Role on the 16th.

When I want your critique of my posts….I’ll give it to you.

But well done, at least even you identified it as crap….oh and I suppose a little congratulations on raising your game to include ‘profiling’.

Roll on the 16th?………should be fishing mate not playing golf at this time of night. ;)

        Mr Edinburgh

the dumbing down of our society started with the left wing pinko Guardian reading nanny stating wombats who ‘divided’ our education system in the name of cohesion and equality, created the all encompassing ‘Childrens Act’ (so that the youth can actually run our country – at our expense) and you are right……. the creators of such mind numbing cack, such as it is, to fill our screens purely for their own satisfaction and greed.

The ‘masses’ who enjoy this tripe are a result of how we are going as a society. Those who call this embarassing charade ‘entertainment’ need to be lobotomised and taken off the the benefits system they seem so much to rely on these days.

        Now…that’s a rant.

Are you serious that we go for matt jarvis, if so you need a prescription of reality :naughty:

I respect your opinion……like others you are entitled to it….. bu1sh!t ones or otherwise. Me? I prefer to base my ‘rantings’ (as was inconsiderately described a few days ago) on reading articles written by other, more professional than me, authors who have more of an insight to the guys talents……oh and from time to time actually watching them.

Hey Ho, each to their own I suppose – orft to the doctors now for that prescription

Just trawling through the PFA website to update my fantasy football system and notice that Steve Caldwell has been released on a free.

Apologies if this is a bit of “Hitler invades Poland” type news, but it was news to me

Wikipedia the font of all knowledge still has him listed has a wigan ath player :chores-mop: :chores-laundry:

Yes………but when you actually get to the Wigan bit….it says that he only signed on a one year deal. So could be true…….

News to me too this Griff…..but then I still thought Josip Skoko was still in the squad.

              Not really..

and there you go……agreed there fella – £10million would be a great result.

Again as we have seen with the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo et al……..everyone is replaceable.

                Matt Jarvis?……..good call.

Hang on a bit :hand: , the same could be said about us getting him out the mire. :snooty:

He was an outcast at Newcastle, with a fairly big price on his head and a name for being a whinging, sulking inconsistent player that they wanted rid of.

We paid a substantial amount of money for him and over the last few years have given him regular football, helped him get his form back and put him in a position that other clubs have now started to look at him.

Just ask yourselves, if we could go back to when kinnear labelled him insomnia and he had been dropped out of the Newcastle first team scene for his strops, then would Liverpool or even Sunderland be banging on their SJP door.? :naughty:

Don’t get me wrong I would love Charlie to stay or at least, at second best get a pon full er money for him, but he owes us as much as we owe him for his current predicament. :angry-soapbox:

Whoaa!! JR in this business (and that is exactly what it is – like it or not) paying a substantial amount of money for a player, making him better then selling him on for what would seem to be a fantastic profit is good business (wheeler dealer doing a car up analogy). N’Zogbia owes us nothing – the game went mercenary years ago. Further, as has been said before, has he been consistently good over the seasons – that mate is debatable. If he is to go on to greater things (France National Team etc) then he needs to move onto a club that can offer a better standard of training, better facilities, more staff etc (just look how well Antonio has come on).

What we also musn’t lose sight of is that if, as someone else has suggested, he is indeed within his last year of his contract and we do not secure a better one for him then he will leave next year and we will be quids out (if you can say that).

However, I applaude your sentiments in that I like the idea that players give back to the clubs what we have invested in them (loyalty etc)…..but hey! I’m just an old romantic.

Ah , Frank Littler, great centre.
                        Played with him many tmes.

BTW.DW. 5 mins walk for me.

Mr Littler smoked 200 cigs a day (not really – closer to 100)…….ran like the wind.

DW…anything from 4 miles to 8000. depends where I am (was at the time).

Like it or not, there is undoubtably some talent on this show.

I’d like people to post their suggestions of people that are already established celebrities/performers that would remain nobodies and not get through the first audition of this or any X-Factor type show if they didn’t have their status. I’ll start with two:

                          Cheryl Cole

                          Pete Doherty

I take it you’re not a fan of the Libertines then?
Mr Walker…Doherty is a terwat, whatever group he was in – hopefully the group he now finds himself in will discover that (even as a fella) he has “ahem” a terwat…….lucky drop in the shower for someone.

judging by his previous rant – broadmoor, ashworth or rampton would be my guess and it looks like the medication has worn off.

                            Mate…I’ve nothing against you… Oh!

apart from I think you are a troll from another board

I think you talk sh!!t most of the time

you have an afinity with some on here (but they won’t let on)

you have no idea what it is like to be incarcerated..

your idea of medication will be the odd spliff you have heard your mates talk about.

Now then…….I’m back only a moment and already you feel under threat – do you have a complex….young man?

                            I like you really….

                              Mr Walker……

it has indeed been a long time, thank you for asking (i’ve missed it….a little, I suppose). My ‘work’ takes me away from time to time but I always ‘look in’ on what is being said – good to see sanity (at times) still prevails).

looking forward to a bit of banter with the usuals and a bit of arrrrrghhh with the ‘notsousuals’.

                              Happy days my friend…….

Sometimes Griff it’s a pleasant surprise to find out actually who you are in this world………in other words – I know 50 year olds who have yet to find their direction. I suspect this young fella was pleasantly surprised to fall “within the rules” to qualify for season ticket for a 21 year old………..

………………..but you knew that anyway. Didn’t ya. eh?

Eh??? Where’s the text gone from my post?

Northernprimate, I was asking if you are that ex-union player, and if so, which club was that with?

I am, but only since living ‘down south’. I moved about a bit, eventually just playing for fun at Winslow, a small club in North Bucks.

Coming through the Wigan catholic school system I was drilled in playing RL and was convinced it was the better game. Moved to Cambridge aged 19 and one of my housemates played union. I went along and have never looked back. Far superior sport, on and off the field.
Sorry Primate, just seen you’re online and remembered I’d not replied.

I played rah-rah for Orrell for quite a while and wondered if I’d play against or on the same team as you.
Strange that Mr Walker….

I too used to train at Orrell, in my youth, with a certain Mr Littler – now that should give a few older ones something to think about….
