They wont be giving me a refund seeing as though I didnt pay to watch that shoite in the first place!
My take on it has always been that the players have no respect for him and therefore only want to play when it suits them (Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal at home last year, for example).I think what it needs is Whelan to go in the dressing room and back him like he did with Jewell when players were acting up. Not sure it will happen though.
Also, I am equally sure that Whelan won’t sack him. Not just yet, anyway.
Not sure I agree with Whelan not sacking him. I dont think that even ‘Big Dave’ expected things to be quite so bad with ‘Bob’ in charge. Once he realises that we might actually get relegated and the £££ notes may be disappearing then he will act.
They could offer me a season ticket for nothing at the minute and I’d tell em where shove it!
Plenty of possession but a distinct lack of a killer instinct in the final midfield 3rd and upfront, same as last year if you ask me. Still its only a friendly so plenty time to sort it out, I wont hold my breath though.
For what its worth, I think this is the season we lose our top flight status. We were lucky last season that the teams below us were so god dam awful and cant see it hapening again. Any more of those ‘one off’ thrashings that we had last year and confidence will take a dive, especially if it happens early on in the season.
It will a completely new defensive lineup this season so why should we get thrashed?
And last seasons defence was the same as the season before which was reasonably tight, so why should we have got thrashed so many times last year? I’d say tactics has something to do with it wouldnt you?

One of the best ever has got to be the 4 – 3 win at Doncaster years ago, but not many on here will know what I’m talkin about.
WOW aren’t you a big fan
Not really.

Selling Titus for £1M is disgraceful. We should be asking for at least £6M.We never seem to get what players are worth and never make other clubs pay over the odds. Other clubs in our position will let their players go but for inflated prices (Cayhill £20M, Doyle £25M)£6m!!!!!!!! I’ll have some of what you’ve been on!
‘Somewhere between 12 and 15 thousand’
Ha ha ha not this year mate!!
Bit of luck he may take Martinez and Barrow as his assistants.
Someone should tell him that we HAD improved until he arrived and took us 4 years backwards.
Ok.
It was.
Why the hell would you want us to sign a player who couldn’t score last season and didn’t even look like doing?
