I don’t look for opportunities to support Roberto!
Several posters keep a keen eye on his fortunes at Everton.
I just question some of the more ridiculous attacks made on him.
Are you going to sit like that?
Have a good match anyway.
I think I’ve got double vision.
Or is galacTIC writing everything in duplicate?
Will we be wearing black tomorrow? I don’t like the green at all. In the last round at the Etihad, Chelsea wore their usual blue shirts. In that case, we need not change either.
I’ll be wearing a white carnation, grumpy. Enjoy the game and get home safely.
Excellent post – the sillier the better.
On to 700!
We’ll be in the draw for the semi finals and Everton won’t.
But it won’t do us any good unless we go further than Everton.
We don’t yet know what the the draw will be, but I can’t see how it will work in our favour any more than it will work in favour of City.
Let’s just support our team tomorrow.
Welcome back!
Good to see some new posts on the old thread.
Remember, any old comment will do. It doesn’t have to be sensible.
I admire all your work for the benefit of Wigan fans – especially during the European trips.
I don’t understand why you look for opportunities to ridicule Roberto – the man who took us to a Wembley Cup Final and came home with the Cup.
Who mentioned Everton?
Not all Scousers support Everton and not all Everton supporters are Scousers.
We can disagree but we don’t have to sink to personal abuse.
Well, it was meant to be ironic.
But he is an expert on some aspects of a footballer’s life! And there have been further incidents of violence against women.
I’m not sure that these make him an appropriate choice as the host of a football programme.
I think I’ll stick to Radio Five Live. Did you hear Garry Richardson – the presenter of Sports Week – singing with a big band?
Now can I ask you to explain why you devote so much time to watching the progress of Everton under our old manager Martinez?
Have you become an Everton fan?
Would a REAL WAFC fan start a thread titled Everton?
Are you a Scouser?
Sorry jr, but you didn’t just say that Everton capitulated against Arsenal today.
I think the word “CAPITULATE” was invented for Roberto Martinez’s teams.
Clearly this didn’t apply to Roberto Martinez’s Wigan in the FA Cup last season.

I think a REAL WAFC fan would have worded that sentence :-
“Clearly this didn’t apply to US in the FA Cup last season”
You wrote your sentence like an Everton fan would have, are you a scouser ?[/quote]
jr said Roberto Martinez’s teams, so I said Roberto Martinez’s Wigan.
Besides, we’ve had this discussion before, and failed to reach a clear conclusion. Are we going to go over it all again?
