Is it true tickets to the game last night cost £26 ?

Thats scandalous, arent adult season tickets only about £75 or something ?

It must matter to someone. Wigan Warriors have gone as far as issuing a statement on the matter.

I see that even the Supporters Club website is referring to them as “the lodgers”

Thats the last place i’d expect to see that. :D

    Shocking innit.

Saw about 10mins of it on the TV for my sins and Leeds must have had at least 1,500 there themselves.

    Awful turnout from the Wiganers.

Not sure we’ll be hearing from them on here any time soon. But i bet when they’ve calmed down they wont be able to resist a peek to see what has been said. :D

He is their reserve keeper but Biscuit Bones Gordon broke his arm in pre-season tying his laces.

17 attempts on goal to their 4.

Not beating a team who are in the same section of the Premiership as you when they’re down to 10men is always points dropped in my book.

Everyone is saving up for the big game tomorrow, so i heard.

my point is why should they be allowed to post on here when we can not post on there forums?

Because their moderators and fans are the Joseph Goebbels of the internet, you arent allowed to say anything that may show “The Wigan Club”, their fans, players or board in any other light than a whiter-then-white one.

Jayt, and the other moderators, on here, rightly so, arent so draconian.

One of the great things about the internet is that you can communicate with people from all over the world on message-boards like this. Some people, however, choose to continue to be small minded and refuse to broaden their horizons. I suppose Rugby League could really be used as a good analogy.

Cant see there being many places open on a Tuesday night.

A Rangers supporting mate e-mailed me earlier asking where they might get “refreshments” once they get back. All i could come up with is the Moon, open till midnight, and Boulevard, open till 1am. I would think everywhere else will be shut by the time they get back here cos i would think they’ll get held in their seats for half an hour after the game.

Yeah they did stop at the ground but i think that was just something that their Official Supporters Club sorted rather than them being forced into it by the police like they are this time.

On the way back they are getting bused back to Wigan / DW and dumped to make their own way home.

I presume Nicholls is with England U19?

Would have been but has withdrawn injured according to the FA’s website.

    Michael Johnson ?

    Always preferred Roger Black myself.

Why is this fellow from Yorkshire here to tell us what others have been telling us for six years now ?

I know they’re a bit behind the rest of the world over the Pennines but bloody hell he’s a bit late…………
