Hasnt Whelan always said he’d just hand over the club over for nothing to any perspective new owner as long as it was in the best long-term interests of Latics?
Nobody would need to buy the club – like anyone would want to buy a tin-pot small northern football club anyway………but less of the Everton talk ;)
How much were they sold to Heinz and Applicado FS (seriously, who are they ?!?) for ?
I heard that Heinz employees could get 6 tickets at £2 a pop. I cant imagine Heinz buying them for more than that price and selling them at a loss. Especially when there is talk of the Kitt Green site closing.
It’s all well and good giving freebies away (they might at well be) but it simply doesnt not work in boosting the attendance, of either club, long term. It’s been proven time and time again, not just here but in other leagues around the world. As soon as someone starts to get something for free then thats it. And thats before you factor in that in this instance you are talking about Wiganers…………….
Likewise, but at the same time hoping Figgy kicks him up in the air a few times, if he can get near him, that is.
Lindsay Sutton also opened her piece by stating this was the first time Norwich had played a top flight game in something like 12 years.
Didnt they get relegated the season before we came up ?
Conroy talking sense on there for a change, but being totally ignored, nothing changes there ;)
Isnt the internet amazing. You are saying £7m. The “in the know” West Brom fans on Twitter are saying £1.5m.
Seems these days everyone has a “source” when really everyone is clueless.
Nouah Dicko, French-Mailian, used to play for Strasbourg.
And let me guess a free agent??????[/quote]
Yup. He’s only 18 or 19. Dont think he’s ever played senior football yet.

Until you read an article that starts “Sky Sports Understands”, then we are ok ;)
Not forgetting that if you have kids and they have season tickets they get into all away games for free.
seems that the glory hunters have deserted the chubbies tneet there aint 300 at Hull :lol:The reason for that, according to RLfans, was the ticket prices. £22 it was :o
TBF even though that the typical response you’d expect from a rugby mon i kind of feel a bit sorry for them……………..kind of.
Cheapest prices for the “big” teams is supposedly going to be close to £60.
Unfortunately they have enough idots that will actually pay those prices. Whereas we’ll take 27 and get endless stick from the likes of TalkSport who, conveniently, wont even mention the prices.
Where and what date is the semi final ?
