Old picture from the summer. Flloyd Mayweather currently is in training camp in Vegas preparing for his fight in September.
There will be more than that. It seems all a bit hush hush though.
Sammon, i think it was, commented on Twitter last week that we were spending pre-season in Sweden and China.
I suppose the fact that he’s moving into the last year of his contract and has shown no willingness to sign a new one – not that we’ve probably shown any willingness to offer him a new one – will bring his price down.
That said Ashley Young was moving into the last year of his contract too and Villa managed to flog him for about £18m. Fair play to them.
So London Crusaders, or whatever they’re called this season, only had 1200 of their own fans turn up to see them play the biggest Rugby League team in the world ?
Has anyone asked if London deserves Super League Rugby yet ?
My comments above were no way an indication of who i want to win. Just what i think will happen.
Wlad with a late stoppage. Haye wont get a points decision, not in Germany, just ask Matt Macklin, and will go out all guns for the K.O but at the same time leaving himself wide open for Wlad to put one on his chin.
I thought that last season we enquired about him and were offered two options – buy him for £3m or pay £1m to loan him for the season. We obviously chose the second.
It doesnt seem like there was any “agreed fee” in the loan contract as there are sometimes are. Otherwise we’d have some sort of case to take to the Premier League, FA, or whoever.
I’m not a Whelan basher but if any future fee was agreed then it seems it was only a verbal agreement and Whelan cant really have a go at anyone for breaking one of those.
Paladino is assistant manager at Rossendale United.
Maybe he should have stuck to the football – http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ … &cat=boxer :o
Where has this been announced anyway ?
Nothing on our website and i’ve asked a Rangers supporting mate about it and he’s not heard anything either.
Has the restructure of the club has you put it made us any better off?Yes, and it would continue that way were he to stay
My only concern is that Martinez has restructured the club from bottom to top. He’s actually taking an interest in the development of youth players unlike the likes of Jewell and Bruce. Finally we look like we might be bringing a few decent(ish) youngsters through to help us progress in the next 3 or 4 years.
The loss of Martinez could mean going back to the short-termism of the likes of Jewell and Bruce, and that is no good for anyone.
edit- when i say it’s my “only” concern that is actually bollocks, it is just one of my concerns.
Its from Whelan on TalkSport not long ago.
He’s having a meeting with RM at noon tomorrow.
Both Whelan and the reporter who wrote that seem pretty convinced that he wont be going.
Lets hope that this time tomorrow the darkside arent hanging out the bunting.
You referring to the Daily Mail story thats just popped up on news now ?
The actual quote from the player and the headline could be from totally different stories. He says nothing of the sort about wanting to leave – in the bit they’ve quoted at least.
Bored already ? :D
Colwyn Bay and Boston United, both away. Cant remember the dates but they are listed on both of their websites.
