          to be honest i cant see whelan spending what we get for zog on players
          well what i mean he might give bob say 3 million and pocket the rest

            a very tricky one to understand this
            but i see it this way
            im sure whelco owned the stadium which is run by the whelan family
            but in order for whelan to sell wafc eventually he must sell the stadium as well to the potential purchaser
            hence whelan had to turn over ownership to the club who he owns himself
            thats so no compicated issues could arise
            and why latics dont pay rent and our lodgers do
