I think it was the stupid arsehole FA “Your not a racist but give us 50 grand please thanks” that tipped the scales for him. Without Big Dave at the helm for all those years we’d have nothing but shite memories, all’s I can say is a big thankyou for one of the best days in my life, watching us lift the FA Cup.
I’ve been saying for weeks McClean belongs out wide crossing and coming inside. We looked far more balanced with McClean and Pennant rightside in the 2nd 1/2 at Blackpool even if the opposition were poor.
I think the players truly appreciated the fans support by coming over to us rather than a raised clap as they leave the pitch. Even if we do go down if we perform like that at least we’ll go down fighting which is all we ask for.

I agree, Kim Bo-kyung stood out for me. he tried his damndest to keep hold of the ball in a nonexistent midfield area.
