That’s like fining me a fiver, if they win the Prem then in their eyes it’s money well spent. The only way these fair play rules will take affect is to deduct points, they’ll soon abide by the rules.

In my humble opinion those two highlight everything thats wrong with english football.
Both been given too much too soon whilst achieving nothing.
Powell in particular thinks hes better than he actually is.
Give me a much maligned gary caldwells passion and commitment over the so called strutting show pony any day.

Too right , too much too soon. I remember Stephen Ireland’s comments after leaving City. He said there were teenage lads turning up for training with £10,000 Rolex watches on even though they’d never played or trained with the first team.

If your paid daft money early were is the incentive ??

I’d sooner have Derby with a Sunday 5:15 KO with a 1/2 decent away following and we can all make a day of it rather than time off work & forking out about a 120 notes for a QPR shithole of a trip. Over the years we’ve never had much luck with QPR so a Wembley 1 off game against them would be our best chance of turning them over rather than a 2 legged affair.

We might have played the most amount of games but how many of our players have played them all ?. The Burnley team has picked itself bar the last few weeks and most of them have played the majority of their games so it kinda evens itself out compared to our players.
Am I happy ? yes , very much so , but is there a need to make so many changes every game ? no .

Burnley played the same 11 as they did Friday and still looked far fitter than us.
Gomez couldn’t breath in the middle,
                  no right side mid,
and for the long ball shiite ??,
I hope he plays the same 11 against Blackpool & Birmingham then a draw against Blackburn and hopefully play Derby cause I’m skint.

Can’t afford a 4th trip in a year – fair enough but stay out of the boozer with your top on we’re not Man United and you said you were skint

thats exactly what a m8 said, wifes booked a trip out I can’t say no I won’t be able to watch it either as we’ll be out shopping.

Then he said “i’ll record it” at that point I had to tell him what a dik and a gobshite he is and how he’s a pish poor excuse for a bloke. I said “Wait a few years then when one day you come home from work and you end up draggin some hairy harse geezer off your missus you’ll wish you’d gone the semi!.

Why can’t train travel run hand in hand with the KO times ? last year was the same. Hull’s semi KO’s at 16:00 .

I went both games , am I right in thinking the Huddersfield away they let you pay on the day ?. I seem to remember the back of the stand full and lots couldn’t even see the game.

As for the Everton, the word sardines comes to mind. As a young lad the one thing I remember about the Everton game was running back to the coaches full pelt hearing ” KILL THE F**KIN WOOLEY BACCCCKS !!” while repeatedly having my coccyx kicked for the best part of 1/2 a mile only to find my coach had left.

For me Boyce is probably the best player ever to play for Wigan Athletic, , , This summer it will be 8 years a Wigan player never playing less that 25 games a season for us.

And at 34 years of age he still held his own on Sunday up against some of the best players in Europe.
When he retires DW should build him a retirement bungalow next to his pad and free use of the jet.

Sky have Liverpool v Manchester City at 14.05 and Swansea v Chelsea at 16:10 on the Sunday so i would guess ITV would not want to clash with those and therefore put our game on the Saturday teatime – when there is no live Premier League game that day.

They clashed Saturday with Utd on one side and Everton on the other. As others have said, looks more like a Sunday KO for us , ITV would be mugs to miss out on us knocking Arsenal out ;)

Your possibly right with that one , Sunday looks the more likely.

Is Arsenal game on Sunday at 3. Seems to.suggest that on BBC fixtures.
