I remember some guy from Bolton on loan, Whittaker or something. When he played I honestly thought Jeremy Beadle had stitched the club up.

When people on the outside see the match stats they will wonder why we struggled

If you were at the match you wouldn’t.

Prior to the 3 changes we didn’t look like scoring.

Two moments of magic won it for us.

A great threaded through ball and a great free kick.

        God bless the super subs.

Gomez sprinted off rather quickly at the end though which was a bit strange !! :(
The only thing that is strange is that Jordi didn’t do a lap of the pitch telling everyone to fuck off because, if I was him, that’s what I’d do.

I see the East Stand Creche finally started to sing a song for him today… fickle, know-nowt twats!
The reason he’s not elsewhere right now is because he failed the medicals (another indictment of Coyle’s fitness regime in not helping him recover?)

Amazing how some seem to demonise ex managers.

Ramis was well into a long term recovery programme well before Coyle took over and returned to training at about the predicted time, his next bout of injury woes have happened under ‘Herr Tinkerman’.

Perhaps the rush him back to get him sold policy overseen by Rosler is the real reason for his latest woes and Coyle’s cautious treatment of him was right.
* What, the same Coyle that insisted the club paying him £30k a week for three years?

Not sure what your spin is on this but it’s nice to see you back talking the same shit you always used to. What’s Rosler done to upset you?
*And you accuse me of talking shit :woohoo:

No problem with Rosler, my problem is with Wiganers who are making him out to be some form of football god, while claiming Coyle was the Devil.

          ps

For someone who was inviting everyone to join you for a drink after your ‘ordeal’ you are home early, nobody turn up ?
Before the game, knobhead. I have plans this evening. You weren’t invited anyway.

I’ve sussed out why you don’t like Rosler. Because you know that cleaner at the Echo who probably has a link to the journo at the Mirror who got everything directly from Coyle, you must be really pissed off that that you can’t find out anything useful(less) any more.

Good to have you back – I didn’t like that bus conductor alter-ego you has when we had a cup run going on.
And CupWinners – good effort with the ‘nob’ reply. I simply can’t compete with that razor-like wit.

Oh, I see what’s happening… a 3-letter reply, “nob”, followed by a 5-letter reply, “freak”. What next? A cutting 7-letter insult like gobshite, or something similar?
Yep , bags packed off to Hull, DW needs money to service the jet.

Let’s be honest though, your track record at predicting these things isn’t particularly good now, is it?
Most forums have their troll types, who spend most if not all of their time criticising, even belittling other members, rather than contributing anything positive themselves.

                Cockneylatic has it’s troll.

It has been very noticeable recently how quiet the forum has become, especially over such a busy footballing time. So little post match discussion now (not that there was much to say about Saturday’s debacle).

People have stopped contributing because they feel their contributions will be ridiculed.

It is a sad state of affairs, but that’s where we are.
You think I am going waste my time trying to have a serious conversation about football – or anything – with someone who feels the need to post the fact that he is angry that a national newspaper has omitted to print a football fixture?

I have many a sensible and serious conversation about Latics and football in general. However, I tend to hold them in a pub though, with people whose opinions and company I like and respect. For the most part, the population of this forum is only fit for belittling and ridiculing, to be perfectly frank. The minority that are worth bothering about know who they are and are probably having their own sensible football discussions away from this forum as well.

If you don’t want your comments on a public forum ripped to shreds, I’d suggest making them less rippable or stop posting altogether.

Oh, and it’s “cockneylatic has its troll”

Macca on the bench and Maynard starting, team selection for me. When Macca came on and Fortune we looked abit more threatening.

And I feckin hate it when “tired” is pointed towards a bad loss. They should thank their lucky stars they aint getting up at 5 doing a 12 hr shift , 6 days a week on the roads,

3 hr’s a day 1/2 million pound a year min , tired my harse !!! I’d have jogged home from donny for that .

So Dicko can Dickoff in the summer for free then Rosler says this ;-

“We have had enquiries about Nouha, but I’m not in any rush to make a decision because I want to see him more in training and in games to be able to make up my mind,”

Well if you wan’t to see him in training then don’t loan him out and if you want to see him play do what Rotherham did and play the lad ! ffs. The FA Cup would have been an ideal start to take a proper look.

You can’t go off a training session to determine how they will perform in a game. Some of the best players in the world are the laziest fookers on the training field.

Start the lad, you never know

Good decision loan players, worse scenario would be to buy players then end up in the Prem via the play-offs and the January players not been good enough to hold their own in the Prem.

When the season’s over with I think there will be a huge turn over of players in and out at the club.

I have heard a rumour we are tracking a lad called Wells at Bradford City (42 goals in 65 games) might be a good acquisition.

Wells for me , lets put the coin down and put an end to this goal drought.

It’s very simple , Powell’s off to Stoke leaving us short so back comes Dicko. Powell has been the difference between us closing in on a play-off place and us been in a relegation dog fight, thank god we had him for the few months we did. I just thank him for helping us and I’m in no doubt he will be a future of a new England team after the world cup.
