I can’t seriously believe people want Al Habsi back in after his dire season.

Robles distribution is so good it’s like having an extra outfield player to create attacks. Al Habsi concedes a throwing nearly every time and can’t catch.

Robles double stop in injury time was superb. The 1st goal was Figueroa’s fault, should never have passed it back. The second as well as not being a free kick, was a very fortuitous goal, bounced off Boyce after Bale’s air kick sending Robles the wrong way and he couldn’t get across enough.

Robles was very unfortunate but has been very impressive in the games he’s played.

Wigan’s official site says you’ve sold out of £45 tickets but no mention of selling out any other category. It’s also odd that on the pdf plan on the Wigan web-site there’s only mention of 1 block of £115 tickets. City have 6 blocks in their 26k allocation.

What does that mean? Have Wigan’s ticket office just put a limited number of their ticket allocation online to keep everybody together, or does it mean that the 4,000 that’s been withheld is largely the £115 tickets?

Do City really have 6 blocks in the £115 section? The seating plan on City’s site is not City specific.
City and Wigan both got 6 blocks in the £115 section for Semi final.

For the final it is only 3 blocks. As the other 3 are corporate/neutral club Wembley people.

The First Allocation Of Wembley Tickets priced at £65 have already SOLD OUT! …The girl on the counter say’s they had to start on the extra allocation today!…I’m in block 520!

Nope. Go online and the only block I can not get a ticket for is 516.
I guess you can only buy individual tickets in the other blocks, if you want 2 or more together then you have to go to 520.

Think there’s 14,000 available in the upper tier and 11,000 in the lower tier. Must be a good 11/12,000 sold in the upper tier. With the initial 1,000 £115 sold and about 2,000 in the £85 lower tier sold.

Part of the extra 4,000 is the release of 1,500 more £115 tickets at the side of the ground next to the corporates, doubt we’ll shift many of them, but the other 23,500 we should shift most of.

2 per ST holder for me.

    There’s about 9,000 ST holders.

    A) There’s no chance of all 9,000 deciding to buy tickets.
    B) There’s no chance of everyone who buys a ticket buying 2 each.

At most 14/15,000 would get sold from ST sales.

Leaving about 10,500 for general sale.

    Easy.

Given the massive seating problems that would arise, as part of our party we have once long term ST holders who for various reasons don’t hold one this season. That should not be held against them. Also there’s lots of parents who take their kids but don’t hold a ST for them. Would it be right for a dad to take an 8 year old and have to sit apart?

In my opinion it would leave a lot of season ticket holders waiting until general release so they can sit as a group. Wouldn’t surprise me if City fans snapped up a good 10,000 in the Wigan end due to getting themselves on the database for Wigan’s next 2 home games.

Also, I do believe that the weekend we face West Ham, we play midweek against Manchester City a few days before but West Ham also play midweek in a rearranged fixture against Manchester United, so we aren’t at a disadvantage there.

If Chelsea and us make the final, we would play Tuesday before the final weekend of the season, BUT Aston Villa would also play in a midweek fixture against Chelsea, so that would again take away our disadvantage.

Hopefully Spurs keep going in Europe and come to the DW after a long trip to Russia 2 days earlier….

I imagine the training sessions in between would be light sessions and more about tactics to make up for the midweek games. The clubs not stupid, they’ll make sure the players aren’t totally burned out and remain focused.

The important thing is we stick together as a club and keep getting behind the players. Sunderland and Villa fans are getting restless, as are Norwich, Stoke and maybe Newcastle if they mess up next weekend. Us and Southampton are getting behind the team and it’s helping them.

Can’t quite tell if you’re taking the piss here or not, you probably are and I’m falling for it. But I’m going to say this anyway.

Gareth Bale since January has been absolutely shocking, awful 3 months of football his nominations are hilarious.

Nasri another who’s been ‘missing’ since January.

Although, Wilshere a little slime ball, who I and most others hate. He’s been top notch all season and has been so far ahead of the other nominees it’s untrue. Seamus Coleman probably deserves runner up.

As for PFA player of the season. Got to be Scott Parker, and by a country mile too, from those nominations.

Probably the funniest part was actually giving Fletcher MOTM with a 9, when he was their worst player. Scholes ran the game for them.

It’s irrelevant to talk about affecting our performances, pointless comment.

It’s simply pointing out media bias, from a company which is supposed to be impartial and represent teams with equality, which it clearly isn’t doing.

Just like referee’s should be neutral not allowing Clattenburg who’s an avid Manchester United fan, as it clouds their judgement. A Manchester United fan should not be writing a match article on a neutral sports website.

    30 points.
We are around 14 points from safety, with 14 games left. That is a fact.

Fact is it? Well with 12 games meaning we would play 38 games, were’s the 2 extra games this season come from?

in reply to: newcastle in for n’zogbia! #57594

£35m for Carroll and they bid £10m for N’Zogbia who’s a better player and far more proven. I wonder how much more we’d get for Zoggy if his surname was Smith or something English….

in reply to: conor sammon #57583

Let’s hope he doesn’t become GILLty of bad finishing like our current strikers.

in reply to: conor sammon #57573

    Reel him in I say.

in reply to: ‘Martinez Out’ Banner #57367

If he persists with his 4-5-1 system and negative tactics White flag i’ll be flying mon. ;)

Well he played 442 vs Villa so there is change….

    I think Bob is great!
