Middle aged blokes who found football late in life acting the big “I am”. Trying to make a name for themselves on a messageboard. When it comes to listening about Wigan Ath i`d prefer to listen to my kids who have been going longer, very rarely moan and have never once threatened not to go.

With average crowds up by 10,000 compared to 10 years ago I wonder where all the others came from then !!The big point here is that all ten thousand of them aren`t acting the Billy Big Potatoes on here and if they were i`d answer them the same way. Nor do they sit by their computer instead of going to games thinking they are Mr Know It All straight after the game. One thing about Martinez is that at the beginning of the season he was offered the Villa job, a bigger club and probably a bigger wage but he turned it down. He showed his loyalty and love for the club. You on the other hand are thinking of refusing to part with just over 200 quid next season if he is still around.
Says a lot in my book.
Fair play to you Garswood for sticking around, very impressive and i take my hat off to you. As stated above i think you are an exeption to the rule and i admire you for that. But i stand by my point as has already been proven by filmoss on here. The middle aged blokes who jumped on the bandwagon wont be around for the long haul like your good self. Even if Mourinho was in charge they`d still be off on their toes as soon as it goes belly up.
I can honestly say i`ve been a one man team since birth,go as often as i can, will never turn my back on the club no matter who is in charge.

If you had to stake money on a fan who would stick by a cub through thick and thin would you put your money on ? A fan who has been with the club all his life or would you place it on one who changed his team ?
Dead easy question
In my opinion you are usually born a fan of a club through your family. We get Latics fans crying about Liverpool, United, City, Everton fans living in Wigan who haven`t changed their support to Wigan.I firmly believe if you change your team once you will change it again. So to the Utd Liverpool Everton fans in Wigan who have continued to support them fair play. All the “Support your local team” tripe that`s spouted on here makes me vom. Where does that leave the likes of Donnelly then ? You cant` have it both ways you see.
And then we get middle aged blokes who only found Latics in the championship years wagging their finger about Everton fans. Where were these fans before then ? Before they found Latics in their middle age ? The same middle aged fans who last season were saying they weren`t renewing their season ticket again. Some fans i think just want to make an internet name for themselves. Makes you wonder doesn`t it :S
