I for one are one of the first to post on here after a win and I do even congratulate Malky for that too. But my post asked if anyone knew if we had never won a home game all Autumn and Winter before or if anyone else had.

After that last night i have changed my mind. I would go as far to say that was the worst wigan athletic performance i have seen for a long while. We’re a team full of loan players who couldnt give a shit if we go down or not, they will be off at the end of the season, young kids having a kick about just to gain a bit of experience and journey men who nobody else wants. After last night i think we will go down, i hope iam wrong but i cant see a way out. we need to start a fresh, new manager for a start, someone with new ideas who will play old fashioned attacking football with a settled team and forwards who can score goals. We need a new team, players who want to be here, who want to wear the blue and white who actually give a shit. Its going to take time, its going to be a hard, its going to be a long haul but its got to happen so we don’t have to put up with that shite we saw last night.Spot on there but we have not had a manager like that since Steve Bruce. Now who could and would have the guts to play this kind of football and re-build our side on a budget?
He certainly does need someone alongside him. Our managers so far this season have rejected Holt, Waghorn, Riera, Delort and McKay. Our left winger has been chosen ahead of all these of late leaving a little right sided lad to play out of position on the left. Now it looks like another youngster may be given a go ahead of them. So what are we becoming an exercise class for young Liverpool lads with stupid hair.
Craziest season I can ever remember.According to our manager we played well and put 25 crosses into the box. What use are 25 crosses to two strikers with lead in their boots?

Last night was on par with the rest of the pitiful performances this season.I agree that Malky is far from the anti-Christ and the situation he is in as been dire with the massive changes put on him by the board but some of the day to day stuff does rest on his shoulders. It was right to bring Clarke back even though he was crap and also probably right to stick with Barn Door Fortune due too his work rate and for consistency but Fortunes goal scoring record is just not good enough.
What isn’t needed is the amount of loan players.
If we want to play youngsters please ffs play our own. They seem to have disappeared off the bench now.
A change for Saturday. McClean back for Ojo. Kvist in for Perch and Perch back at right back for Boycey. Maybe it is time to drop Fortune for Mckay or Waghorn.Spot on there but let us see what a miss mash of shite is mustered up for Saturday.Clarke shit, Fortune worse, Ojo shit, Perch out of position. How does this loan system work? It seems to be a way around the transfer window farce. How many have we got now on loan? Seems strange to loan players yet have our own players out on loan at the same time or loan players yet not play our own squad players.
Top scorer with 6 goals just ahead of our other ex winger Callum Mc who scored 5. a handy contribution from both the wingers but goals scored by strikers says it all about our season.
But it could have helped the cause if we had actually played with strikers and a settled team.
A regular starting eleven from August could possibly have even had us pushing for the play offs like we expected but that’s hindsight and also Uwes legacy.
