For the life of me I cant see how the egg chasers would help the quality of the pitch, so I agree the fat egg chasers wallowign around our pitch isnt a good thing.

Seems to have been a few years wince Whelan put his hand in his pocket and improved it.

Runcorn, I get it sorted for you.

Edinburgh, the offer is there, if you don’t take it, don’t whinge.

Thanks for the offer, but the point I was making wasn’t for me personally, but for the general masses that I speak to at games regularly who feel the same way.
Jesus, who do you think you are, Billy Graham?

If you’re as miserable and whiny in real life as you are on here, I’d think you could probably count on one of Abu Hamza’s hands the number of people who’d be keen to talk to you about anything.

Typical “want sommert for nowt and will moan like Billy-o until somebody hands it to m eon aplate” Wiganer.

And ref your earlier appology (sic) – well, there really is no need, I couldn’t give a flyer what you think or say.
Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now….. Tho has no idea.

Walks away shaking head… Tut Tut Tut…..

Everybody else seems to have managed to get to see it easily enough. Perhaps the club is deliberately keeping just you out of the loop. I, for one, wouldn’t blame them if they did.

Mmm that does sound like a great debate, appologies for lowering the tone.

I am not going to go into how many times the Cup has been out and about at various times during school holidays and at weekends.

It has been in the DW Sports shop in Wigan on at least 6 Saturdays and in the Grand Arcade on a couple more, we have had in the Supporters Bar twice. We have arranged three events where WASC members can view it up close and personal.

I guarantee that there will have been more than one opportunity that you could have taken to go and see the Cup ‘free’ as you call it.

I will stand by my stance from a few months ago, we have organised this for the Members of WASC, if you are not a member then this isn’t for you.

On speaking to the Club, there doesn’t seem to be any more planned outings for the Cup other than to the Associations and Schools it has already been requested to. This may change and if it does we will post it on here and on the Supporters Club site like we have done over the past 9 months or so, to give as many people the opportunity to see it.

If you desperately want to see it in its case, it has been on show in the Main Reception of the DW Stadium for the past two months and will be there on the days that it is not in schools.

Have you tried emailing or calling anybody at the Stadium or even the Supporters Liaison Officer about it rather than putting posts like this on a forum? because if you had I am sure you would have been made aware of where and when you could see it.

It is like I say to so many people, not just on the FA Cup, if you wait for something to come to you if seldom does.

As a paid up season ticket holder there has been ample opportunities for the club to send details of viewing, yet we have heard nothing. I have had more promotional material to watch the egg chasers play.

I think it has been an absolute disgrace the lack of communication coming out of the club about the trophy and its availability. Those involved in communciations at the club should be embarassed.

I will leave it at that.
Why, is that because you are a c*ck?

All I ever ask was that the club bring it to the fans on a home match day and let them see it for free, that cant be too much to ask is it. Oh yes and advertise to the fans as well that it is there.

I read somewhere that Ramis has failed a medical in Cardiff. Maybe he will stay after all !

I repeat the stance I made a few months back. Are there any free to attend events fro the average working lad, who doesnt go to school or able to attend the DW Store on a Thursday afternoon before the Trophy leaves us?

Why not have it available before home games in the east or west stand where you dont have to pay any cash to have your photo taken with the trophy?

in reply to: Standing or not standing #126204

Personally I enjoy the seat and dotn believe the introduction of standing areas will magically make a stadium come to life.

If we did introduce it you would have more people standing in a smaller areas, which would leave bigger gaps in the stadium and probably a worse atmosphere.

in reply to: Ramis to Palace #126199
According to the very clever guy (great newsreader voice) MOOSE on talk sport Palace have put a bid in for Ivan Ramis

Shock horror, Latics play London based team and news story surfaces days before about possible transfer talk for key Wigan player…. never heard that before.!!

in reply to: Coyle on MOTD2 Tonight #125884
Strange how Coyle is hated by so many yet Martinez seems to be given cult status by some and he brought in the most boring negative football we have ever seen, relegated us; turned his back on us and came back for players that he promised he wouldnt do!

    Go on I’ll bite….

Martinez has Cult status because of the playing days and because of his ability to entertain. Not sure if you missed the games such as West Ham, Man Utd and Man City in the cup, but he provided the best days I have seen at the Club.

Still never sure what people expect watching Wigan.

in reply to: premier league -do we miss it ?? #125687

Miss the premises no, but give it 2 yearsI and the parachute payments go, then see the player quality go.
