I dont very often make negative comments about our players, but 9 times out of ten hugos first touch is woeful, also 9.9 times out of ten he’s shooting is woeful and that goes for were ever he is playing.

Zoggy looks as though he can’t be bothered and on the odd occasion when he decides to have a go, he is so predictable, me missus would negate him, i’m afraid that IMOhe is a bit of a one trick pony.

Why oh why did we change from the unpredictability of Stam ( On the 2 occasions hes started we’ve scored and got points) to the predictability of zoggy.

And i said in post a few weeks back that with our style of play we will struggle to score more than 1 goal in a game, and we will need more than one on many occasions if we are to win enough not to get into a relegation battle, I still stand by that.

up untill about 20 years since ( might be a bit out) The Boulevard was just a dirt cellar. When it first opened it was called The Boulevard Then changed to Embargo now its back to its original name. some pretty good live bands on sometime. When it first opened it was trying to be a bit classy, with Chesterfield suits and fancy food, but it never really worked out, Classy pub in Wigan and all that.

          Yeah
Anvil is still a good pub for real ale drinkers, and pretend ones to, and as Staropramen on draught (I’ve always found staropramen easier to spell than say)

one of my favorite pubs int centre of town Is the John Bull,
although not a lover of thwaites, their daniels is pretty good. and deffo the best juke box IMO.

to me, and i was there and there was more than 59 others, the masterstroke , for want of another word, was the timing of his bringing gomez on. For the first 25 mins of the second half we defended very deep, almost on the edge of our box, this was a nightmare to watch because we are usually a bit rubbish at this, he brought gomez on , and the game seemed to change, we were no longer penned in, and the rest they say, is history, i thought it was a great substitution.

but a am pretty rubbish at reading a game.

there was some young, very drunk lobbygobblers monkeying, leigh east players i think, at the services ont toll road late sunday afternoon. i saw one bloke after giving them a smacking, but his wife dragged him away, they tried baiting some of my larger mates, but they basically ignored them

                I can’t dissagree with you,

but theres a lot of people on here and on the ground just won,t give him the same chance as others are prepared to

I know some have never moaned about him, me included,
But many have, theres lots near where i sit, several of which i’ve “debated” with on the odd occasion.
i’m actually thinking of one particular section of the crowd.
When we played Real zaragoza i was sat in the middle of the west stand about ten or so rows behind ths subs benches, when gomez came on as sub i was actually embarrased by the reaction of many of people who were moaning very loudly even before he got on the pitch. I’m probably more on about these,

Oh and I was told that the warrington fans behind the posts were so bored with the game, they decided to have a fight between themselvs, quite a few involved, i’m told.

the person who told me was sat in the tier above them, so have no reason to doubt it, seen nothing reported though

there’s an awfull lot of people that go to the rugby showpiece who are not necesarily rugby fans, or don’t follow either team that is in the final, they go only for a weekend ont lash, and thousands have been doing so for years

                        credit where credits due,
not been through the posts about saturdays game,
but no-one other than donnelly has mentioned gomez,

by all accounts he had a more than descent game in the carling cup, and again yesterday all be it only for about 20 mins, but he was tracking back tackling, wining free kicks when he had the ball and good passing as well, and he nearly scored from what was IMO not that easy of a chance, so like i said credit where credits due, and if he starts against sunderland or comes on as sub, can we try a little encouragement instead of moaning about him even before he touches the ball

i went to the tonking at chelsea, it cost a few quid, as i went ont train, and payed for my daughter, but all in all, apart from the result it was a great day out, we had a few hours int pub with lots of beers before the game with a load of chelsea fans but not many cockneys.

                                i didn’t want a refund
