You’re on a sticky run – sure, but you’re on a sticky run against sides who have played at this level for many years. These sides don’t have a squad of players who are struggling to make the adjustment from 3rd tier football – they are packed full of decent Championship players and/or those who couldn’t quite cut it in the premier league. Well that was abysmal today. Terrible performance by Cook. Team selection, tactics, substitutions. Is that a reason to get shut?He’s a man clearly under pressure! The axe man is sharpening his blade! ;)
Our defending was shocking! Couple that with no goal threat whatsoever and you have a pretty bad combo! You can talk possession percentages all day but that performance today was woeful in my opinion, well it was up until us fucking off after their 3rd! Dead man walking for sure !
One win in last ten games with seven of those losses! Relegation form for sure! If the plan for this season was consolidation then the plan is in serious danger! If we don’t get anything from the next two games then I think that someone else should be brought in to spend whatever money is available to us come January! Excuses running thin on the ground now, he’s a dead man walking I reckon! ;)
