Well. Looking at the glass half full. We are in the quarter final of the FA cup and with 10 games to go we aint in the bottom 3 with two winnable home games to follow. Not bad for a keeper that cant catch, a centre half thats useless, a full back thats past it, an over rated central midfielder, a fat get on the wing and a striker who hardly scores. Heres to the end of season push!We will be in the bottom 3 after the weekend though with a game in hand against City away ! ;)
Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t for one minute think that we would beat Liverpool in their current form but the manner in which they battered us concerned me, especially the defensive frailties and the bickering ! Our keeper is having a nightmare season and has made far too many errors and the back line whatever formation they are put in are all over the shop. Not the ideal situation for a relegation dogfight really is it !
This goes deeper trust me !
He aint part of the clique so don’t go hoping for too much now will ya ! Watson has more chance of getting a game than him !
What’s with the waxing lyrical over beating a side languishing in 19th place of The Championship with a goal difference of -25 ( Far far worse than any other side in that division ) As for beating Reading, it was a good workman like display and positives were indeed taken from it but come on, it was Reading who are no World beaters ( See league table ! ) If we can knock 2 or 3 past Newcastle, Norwich and QPR respectively and beat them then the waxing lyrical will be well justified ! Remember, One swallow doesn’t make a Summer !

I wonder how Sir Alex is feeling about his young player not getting any pitch time ! If I were him I would be recalling him and shipping him off to a club that will give him the match experience he supposedly needs !
But really what would have Henriquez have changed had he played on Saturday? We had equal possession, twice as many shots, and more of our shots were on target than theirs.

I know we have a massive problem at the back and that has been RM’s mantra all season ” we must learn from these mistakes ! ” We don’t and therefore questions must be asked re defensive coaches etc but back to the Utd protégé, if we created that many chances and didn’t manage to find the net once then surely this lad must be given more chances to prove himself because Koné appears to be hit and miss and Di Santo…Well you can put in your own punchline for him !
It will be a happier place because we will be on a more level playing surface ! If you thought that the manner in which we played on Saturday was acceptable then all I can say is that you are easily pleased my friend !
