At the end of the day some fans are just happy with their lot even though it aint a lot ie club run on a shoestring but financial stability and others would have liked to have seen Uncle Dave take a gamble to back up his sound bites ! I am in the latter camp and so therefore will forever be disillusioned ! :S
Again this is just an opinion, but if some aren’t happy with the club and how it is run.. Why do they continue to support the team?? Surely they could support someone they would be ‘happy’ with.. But in all honesty I think some people just like complaining, simple as that.
And what do you recommend filmoss.. Do you want us to attempt greater things (That aren’t possible) and follow in the steps of the Glorious Portsmouth F.C etc??
I personally would prefer to watch and support my team, and see financial stability aswell.
Ah the old Portsmouth chestnut ! Don’t expect to ever finish in the top half then or expect the club to have enough depth in its squad to go on a good cup run because it will not happen ! I think I would prefer to compete on a more level playing surface and glean more satisfaction from our home performances than merely survive every season. The odd win every blue moon against the big boys (which I hasten to add shouldn’t really be a surprise because we are after all in the same league)just doesn’t do it for me because in-between there are too many lac lustre performances ! In my opinion ( Stats back this up ) under Bruce we had more success and to be honest the football wasn’t as bad as many make out. The sight of Camara running on to a lofted pass had many of us rising from our seats and there did seem to be a hell of a lot more penalty area action back then ! The wages have since been cut and the purse strings tied in a double knot but had we continued in the same vein financially as we did under Bruce I really don’t think there would have been an implosion !

A whole host of reasons why we wont be progressing to what some call the next level, money being the main bugbear ! Many on here have called Steve Bruce but the stats do tell a story ! Whelan may well have asked RM to cut the wage bill but at what cost ! Skin of teeth scenario year in year out ! We have to realise that Whelan has not got the money to move us on and as we stand financially we will be in the same position until our luck finally runs out !
Jesus the penny has finally dropped for the depressed fillip moss
I have said this many times now, doesn’t stop me having a moan when the players don’t bust a gut to do something about our predicament ! Too many stepping stone merchants for my liking !

Some very optimistic predictions here I see ! Griff’s parting shot was reality kicking in ( Brain beating heart ! )
Some fucking bastards about ! Karma will win the day !
I dread corners !!
I have been told he is lightening fast !
He seems to know where the back of the net is !
To think that is naive to say the least RM takes all the flack for lost matches and merely defends his players to the cameras like fergie does it is what a manager doesYou are missing my point ! I was saying that it is easy to say no games are easy just after a loss if you don’t really have an excuse but it is not something that a manager should be saying before a game ( Not that I suggested that )
There are never any easy games in the Prem anyone who thinks there are ,are on planet zog unfortunatly many of our fans of the prem era appear to be on that planet and a few old school have joined themTo say there are never any easy games is a retrospective comment usually used by managers on the back foot post match. I hope to God RM isn’t drilling it into the players before games ! ;)
So we have plenty of folk moaning about lack of fire power and word has it that we may be getting this fella on loan and not one person has an opinion on the rumour ? Well he cant be any worse than what we are going to be left with not that the chap leaving us for a while has been up to much lately !
Interesting to see that the top 3 in the Prem have (or at least did have when the figures were used)the 3 biggest debts respectively !
So therefore using the Norwich excuse ( Like all the others before it ) we will get nothing against Arsenal ( Big club 8th and only lost 1 in last 6 just brushed aside WBA who were flying high ) Nothing against Everton ( Tough place to go and Champions League contenders for next season ) Forget Villa then ( Unbeaten in last 6 just hammered Liverpool at Anfield ) Oh and Man Utd ( No need to give a reason for this one ! ) No surprise then to get nil points from the next 4 games ?
Well actually I prefer spade end hooks for my float fishing.I also never thought we would get owt at Norwich, not with there current home record, so don’t see what all the fuckin fuss is about.
Grayling smell like cucumber as well.
Just which teams do you think we should get something from then ?
