All positive if you ask me-great character from Latics after the goals from Chelsea and easily deserved something from the game.
The squad looks stronger and is probably the most settled one we have had for a good few years.Kone,Ramis (the first goal wasnt his fault -(world class play from Hazard)look good signings.This team WILL get goals and has bags of pace in it and real hunger and fight and im sure we will get our first three points next saturday regardless of Southampton’s bright start yesterday.
Another positive were the extra supporters who turned up yesterday adding to the atmosphere and creating a very positive feel around the ground.
The club is on the up now that is for sure and we will stay in this division without a doubt with more performances like that.Most half decent players will turn a defender like Hazard did to Ramis when the defender naively commits himself when all he had to do was stand his ground ! It can be put down to rush of blood to the head due to circumstances of EPL debut !! Di Santo can claim a fair chunk of the blame as well for not doing what 15,000 home fans wanted him to do !! :(
