Just like the colour of ones skin it doesn’t really matter what colour you are or wear really does it ! If it means financial security for a club then their fans shouldn’t bother if they play in yellow polka dots ! I hate the tribal colours thing anyway its archaic in my view !

My mate (who came to the Newcastle game – for the posters on here who met him) used to play in goal for Cardiff. He thinks it’s an abomination that Cardiff are changing from Blue, and the very fact they are adopting to red and a dragon emblem is a sell-out to the Welsh RU team who they’re trying so hard to distance themselves from.

He lives in Preston but comes from …wait for it ….Cardiff !! He isn’t fickle, he is 50 odd and supported them from being a kid ! Just like this set of fans on here, the Cardiff fans are split as well and this subject is no different ! Your mate thinks abomination my mate thinks not. Who is right ? If the fans were that bothered about it they would vote with their feet and revolt against the idea but I think you will find that they will eventually lie down and accept it ! We shall see !

How sad.Still , as long as the price is right clubs , and it seems some of their fans , will whore themselves out to whichever foreign syndicate comes along flashing the cash. A century of history changed by some bleedin foreigner who’s been there two minutes.
Of course it won’t stop at changing the colours. The more foreign owners that come into the game will mean it’s only a matter of time before some poor unfortunates will see their club being moved , Wimbledon style , to God only knows which part of the country.

Listening to cardiff fans on radio today,yes there were a lot against it but when there bloke from the offical supporters club came on and said rumours are we are losing 1 million a week and the debt of the club is in excess of 70 million. The owners have said they will wipe the debt off so changing the colour of our kit is a small price to pay because the way things stand we where heading the same way has pompy and rangers so we will still have a team to supportThat is just what a Cardiff fan whose windows I clean said today !

Griff, you know that I often add to play on words joke threads. No whoosh at all mate but some very dodgy jokes which is what I was saying, unless of course you thought I was actually being serious which would be a ” Whoosh ” right back atcha !!
I do however find it quite ironic that the intentional thread was hijacked because any thought of Jonesy actually managing a Prem club simply cannot be taken seriously by Latics fans and rightfully so !!

So it appears that every story has two sides. Yesterday it was revealed that Joey Barton had been attacked and two 21 year old’s were arrested in relation to the incident and the QPR midfielder had stated he had no intention of pressing charges.
Now however it appears things have progressed and following the arrest of Barton’s attackers the QPR midfielder has now been arrested and bailed in relation to the alleged assault.
Joey Barton had taken to Twitter to state that he had been ‘sucker punched’ but could there be more to this incident than first meets the eye?
