Are you saying that if we manage to keep hold of everyone then the squad will be able to hold it’s own and that we won’t need to strengthen in any department? By the way, if we had played like we did on Monday night in every league game we’d be on 90pts now and pretty much home and hosed! ;)
Logged in again tonight and I was able to buy a couple of tickets! Logged in this morning by following the link and logging in via a small tab in top right hand corner, tonight that small drop down type tab opened up again but this time there was a full log in page behind it which logged me in properly! Not sure what the other thing was but that did take me to a page with my name in top corner saying I was logged in etc and options to buy tickets but when I followed instructions it said non available? The page I got tonight did appear slightly different! Anyone else ever had this happen?

Bar one or two clubs the vast majority of clubs are littered with finicky fans non worse than Middlebro and Sunderland and the biggest of them all, Leeds. Just wait till the likes of Swansea take the plunge. Some people go to watch the opposition not their own team and cannot face the thought of watching a game without the likes of De Bruyne Hazard , Pogba been on the pitch.8000 regular at the DW is a vast improvement from the loyal 1500 days of Springfield Park. Not only was it the attraction of City on Monday at the DW but the pricing of tickets also helped. Would I sooner see 8000 or an extra 10,000 fly be night fans ?I’ll take 18,000 any day but the fact is were along long way of that every happening again.
Were no different from dozens of clubs but would we have got a 1-0 without the fans against City ? I think we all played a part to help the players hold fort for so long. The display was reminiscent of the Sheff Utd game away on that final day of the season when we sent them down and survived as a result of it. Everyone absolutely busting a gut and putting in a proper hard shift!

Blackpool is the only game I’ve left early this season and that was as they announced the time added on! Most of the other games have been hanging in the balance until the final whistle! ;)

On paper we should be beaten by about 12 – 0, especially after Monday nights results. But both clubs have points to prove after our last two Cup meetings. I would like to think that City do not appreciate the passion, determination and tenacity of Wigan and our supporters.
I hope for a bit of luck ie a Wigan penalty and a City player sent off that turns the game our way (it happens)!
And on that basis I predict a 2 – 2 draw.

If you are on about City, yes we beat them in the final ( Every man and his dog knows that! ) but it was Arsenal who beat us in the semi final the following season! I think you might be losing touch with your mind!

Who apart from SH77 has said we’ll struggle to finish in the top 2? Also, who has said we won’t even be in the play offs? I have to admit that I agree with a lot of what SH77 is saying re recent team selection!
