We were on about Melchiot the other week ( The lads who I go on match with ) and we all agreed that as captain he never ever opens his mouth either to marshall the defence or gee up the lads. He is as quiet as the proverbial ” Church Mouse ” !

’It’s All In My Mind’ – Teenage Fanclub. A not-new band that are well worth a listen.A hot NEW band ya say…..They have been going just short of 20yr !! Not really my scene these, as they are a bit mainstream ( Consumer friendly ! ) an therefore will have moved away from what they originally set out to do due to record label pressure. Better than a lot of rubbish that was about in early 90s though so I can understand why a lot of students were drawn to their music !

Walkin Tampons, they are.By the way, I was in St Helen’s doing a gig on Sat night. The gig was rubbish, as it happens, and the place was empty. (Not bothered. Pick up the ££££’s)
But it was just close enough to Saints for their fans to come in after the game. And my god, they aren’t any better or prettier.
Had to sit then sit through a televised game of Wakefield V Catalans, and I can honestly and truthfully say, I have never, and WILL never understand the attraction of the game. Maybe it’s because I’m from Skem, which is football daft (and there are NO rugby pitches, at all) but I just do not get the rules, and I do not find it remotely entertaining, in the slightest. How anybody can have the CHEEK to compare it to Football, is beyond me

They didnt shut up shop they were clearly after adding to their lead and should have done but for a bad ref decision ! Not that they needed to shut up shop as we could have played till midnight and not scored !
