Ok then I am being negative ! I am actually embarrassed to admit to folk who dont already know, that I support Wigan Latics ! The crowds are dropping fast and the players are jumping ship only to be replaced with mediocre Championship level players and that is being kind to some of them ! The same will happen in January ! If we survive it will only be because there are crapper clubs. Our survival should be on merit and not some sort of food chain analogy ! Oh and last season included can you name one decent home game that we performed well in because I am struggling here ! We find it too packed int Brick the pagefield is roomy an easy to get served !Pagefield. 5 of us have a few scoops pre match. My avatar badge will identify me should you want a chat or break my nose ( Depending on who I have upset on here ! ) Will gladly buy anyone on here a pint if they approach me ! Should we get relegated I honestly think Whelan will sell up. I may be wrong but if I am not it will answer a lot of questions and finally put to bed this lively debate. If I am wrong however,I will hold my hand up. The club is in my opinion going backwards squad wise and I think we are going to struggle big time this season. We need to improve our home form which is currently the worst in the Prem, last season included ! With falling crowds and sub standard players replacing half decent ones we are however rapidly approaching a catch 22 scenario !

VAT69, can you please elucidate to us all what a “Band wagoner” is ? I for one have never proclaimed to have been at Goole in 1980 or Frickley in whatever distant year gone by. I started going on about a third way through the season we came up from Championship. Now since my first game I have NEVER missed an home game. Am I a “Band wagoner” or a relatively new fan. A fcukin good one at that !
