No matter what the chairchild says I do think that some discretion wouldn’t have gone amiss here! His legs may have gone but he isn’t just any old player and he would have been a grand servant to the club after his retirement from full time footy! Austerity over loyalty and it stinks if you ask me. I personally think that he would have done ok in League One for just one more season but for him to have said what he has said then I can only imagine that the club have fucked him over big time! The season ticketometer has swung to the ‘No’ bit so far! I wasn’t surprised at the player exits so far but this treatment of a club legend is a fuckin disgrace!
A 40k fine in relation to MAF was not too harsh but I reckon the powers that be came down on us very lightly believing we had self inflicted a punishment on ourselves by signing him in the first place.Take into consideration his wages as well and we have a classic case of the complete opposite of ‘Value For Money’ ! :)
With Middlesbrough on the verge of promotion it would appear with hindsight that Adomah made the right choice rather than us making the wrong one!

Anyway there been a positive outcome from this ridiculous situation.
My lad and all his mates are buying a season ticket the cheaper end block seats and moving over to the centre block seats on KO.

I remember some folk kicking off about having to leave the South Stand for the East and some about having to leave the North for the South, it all settled down in the end! I think our letters were sent out to us early enough, giving us plenty of time to act. The offer of going to the stadium to be shown the options inside the ground is a nice tangible personal touch and I have no qualms about the decision now that I have spoken with someone!
There was one funny moment on the phone when the lady offered me a seat in the West Stand, ” I’m only 52, I’m too young for there yet ” I replied and she said that her husband is the same and calls it the ‘Rigor Mortis Stand’! Ha ha ha !Thank you garswood

Mate of mine North of the border said Scott McDonald thrives off chances like this clip of direct football. Not sure whether he will be as effective up front on his own relying on some very patient possession orientated build up play?
