I agree with you totally but we just might be termed as Preston/Leyland and Chorley knobheads again for daring to have a different opinion to our resident cave dwelling, tunnell visioned, Martinez loving, WN post coded ‘Booker Prize’ winner.

I’m gonna need a bigger boat. Far too easy, this

Griff joked 4 weeks ago, what if the new manager played 1 up front? He’d piss himself. We’ll his keks must be very wet.

Laughing at the people who were convinced that we would start playing 442 as soon as Malky arrived.

Still not convinced that 442 would work but I’d give a proper 352 a go. Can’t get any worse, can it?

Well I must say this is an new agenda or is it an new existing one from mard arses

Just ignore ’em mate, and thank your lucky stars you’re not a Preston/Chorley/Leyland knobhead like them. I mean, what the fuck are they expected to know about football anyway, coming from there?
Hope im not being referred to as well in that category sir griff. I am a born & bred wiganer who has just happened to live where i now live for the past 11 years.
Certainly not, rest easy! ;)

Cowie did more in 5 minutes than Maloney did in 45. I’ve been Maloney’s biggest fan for the past 3-4 years, but he has lost his spark at club level. Play for Scotland, world beater, play for Wigan crock of shyte. When he lost the ball today his attitude was woeful, head down and saunter back, I felt sorry for McCann and Watson who carried Maloney for the time he spent on the field, get shut and get some money for him.

Agree with that 100%, been saying it all season. It is so obvious that Maloney doesn’t want to be here any more. He’ll be gone in January – if anybody wants him.

Cant leave it alone can you Christopher, you don’t half come across as a Martinez “are slicker”. Tis you who art the child, but unfortunately most people on here know it apart from your good self and drinking buddies.
So take your photo of you and Bobsy Wobsy, stare into his luscious brown eyes and tell him how good a manager he is. Perhaps buy him a fluffy pair of beddies for crimbo and stick a couple of copies of your book in there.
Anyway I’m off to study the premier league table and see if Everton have hit a Champions League place yet.

Really? And you wonder why I will never, ever give a flying fuck what most of you bunch of pricks think about me or anything else. Thank Christ most of you never have the balls to crawl out from under your pre-11 plus level rocks.
Oh dear, you must give a flying fuck if you feel the need to respond to a post 3 weeks and 5 days old. That’s the actions of a very insecure toss pot, who yearns to be loved. [shakes head in dismay and waits for a response early in the new year]
Not really, only just got round to reading it. Just thought it was bit rich being called childish by someone who use the phrase Bobsy Wobsy. Not sure why I am surprised, though

I think the reason the FA are dragging their heels with the MacKay incident is the repercussions if the FA were to find him guilty, privacy laws have to be taken into consideration.

I personally don’t the FA will taken action, can you imagine it, the FA having to investigate every claim regarding racist remarks sent from footballers phones in a one 2 one private text or email ?.

If its just those texts (or even similar additional ones that have yet to come to light) then the FA can’t do anything. Aside from privacy laws they set themselves a precedent when they said they couldn’t charge Scudamore with anything when his former secretary leaked what some deemed sexist emails, on the grounds that it was private communication between 2 individuals
What I’ve read the delay is in either charging or not charging him, is that they want to investigate whether there are any texts/emails in the public domain and/or whether they type of language used in the ones currently known about is indicative of a culture of prejudice operated by Mackay when he was in charge at Cardiff.
The comments from the South Korean player’s agent would indicate that there wasn’t whilst the comments that have come from the player who claims he was known as the “wee Eyptian” would indicate that others felt there was (or may have been).
So aside from just looking through the texts & emails provided to them by Cardiff I think they’re also going to be interviewing staff at the club
Of course they can! They are not looking to bring criminal charges, this is an internal football charge loosely based on the old “bringing the game into disrepute” scenario. Wehther they should, or whether they want to risk someone counter-suing the is another matter altogether.

All being well, i will be there on saturday

Ok! Where is the rest of my post that i just posted cos i wrote more than that.

It was basically saying that this saturdays game is my first since early october & i cant wait for it.
It was probably deleted automatically to save everybody the tedium of reading it ;)
To be fair griff it wasnt that tedious a post. I know that things haven’t been going too well for us this season both on & off the pitch, but that aside, this is my first game since early october due to work mainly & i really cant wait to go.
You’re right, there have been much, much worse ;)

Don’t forget to bring your talcum powder and slippy-soled shoes – it’s Northern Soul day on the Player’s Car Park!
That Northern Soul shit needs to be dropped, it’s over!
You don’t like our players.

    You dont like our music.

You don’t like the fact that the game lasts longer than the 78 minutes you manage to stick around for.

Not sure why you bother, to be fair.

Makes perfect sense to me. Both clubs will presumably have done their research and established that they have probably already tapped the local market as much as they are likely to for this season and so are aiming to spread their net a bit wider.

Still, Mr Kerr, let’s not let a bit of reasoned, commercial thinking get in the way of a gratuitously, ill-informed pop at the club, eh?

Very quiet on here of late, anyone would think think that most have resigned themselves to the fact that we might go down and they could be right ya know! Now obviously any relegated side a season and a half relegated is going to be a shadow of it’s former self but I think our’s is looking like League One fodder and I am not on the wind up! Slowly but surely I think that most of our fans have accepted that we have no God given right to be back in the Prem and that our 8 year stint was just an amazing anomaly but now we are back from whence we came and it is a whole different ball game ( Well It’s still football but ya know what I mean ! )A combination of two failed managers have left us with some pretty sub standard signings, sub standard enough to see us languishing one off the bottom of the table and if Malky can’t sort the wheat from the chaff very quickly, trust me we will be in a relegation dogfight! I just hope that all this recent bad press isn’t going to put the mockers on DW splashing some more of that parachute money so that Malky can right a few wrongs! In recent times Wolves have done the double drop and Birmingham avoided it by the skin of their teeth last season so don’t think that it can’t happen because it can, the question is what can be done to prevent it? Laugh at me all you like but I for one would welcome Caldwell back into the heart of the defence ( Instead of Barnett ) for his experience and leadership as this is his level these days. I would take Boycie aside and thank him for all of his efforts and dedication but tell him that he is going to be a fringe player from now on, I would replace him with Tavernier if fit or Perch. Before anyone starts giving the ” Not another ‘Football Manager’ gamer ” I am just offering up my opinion on the current woes! Midfield would have to see Forshaw removed and sent out on loan if anybody would have him to get his game up to scratch because he is very much off the pace so far this season! We can’t afford to have him playing in league games dithering about whilst being closed down and then either passing it back or to one of the opposition! Not sure about up front and the long winded 2 up front or not debate! Something has to give though surely! At the end of the day we are not where we are by bad luck or kismet, we are down there because of bad management and let’s hope that Malky can turn things rounds and so ‘Let’s Be Having You’ on Saturday getting behind the lads and at least doing what we are meant to be doing, supporting the team! :)

    I don’t think we’ll go down. I think we’re a good side blighted by some poor individual performances/decisions (player/managerial).

Nobody has given us a proper tonking (yet) and I’ve not walked away from a game this season thinking that there is something inherently wrong and there was nothing that couldn’t be put right. Even against Wednesday last Saturday, there were moments during the game where we looked streets ahead of our opponents only to be let down my some individual errors that cost us the game.

We do have goalscorer issues, as in we haven’t got one. I don’t know the answer here but it is of my opinion that the solution doesn’t involve Holt, Delort and Riera. Over to Malky on that one.

    Top half finish for me.
Pretty much agree with that, but we do need to start turning in some results soon-ish

in reply to: Poor today #136427
I would say that Espinoza has played better than Forshaw so far this season!

And you’re entitled to your opinion.

in reply to: Poor today #136425
None of our players are anywhere near as good as any of Paul Jewels Third Division side.
That is the benchmark for what is required. The present side would struggle to get promoted next season if we were to get relegated this season.

Only about 28 days left to stake a claim for 2014’s Daftest Post of the Year award, folks!

The bar has been set quite high though, with this one. It’s neck and neck with Horc’s “anyone off this board could get this team in the play-offs” post.

A vintage year chaps, a vintage year
