Mighty doesn’t have a dictionary
Who should we play ?
Play our strongest line up at Th’owd Trafford and rest the majority for the hull game ?
Would be good to give our fringe mob a chance. Afterall, we got to the Carling Cup Semi Finals on a weakened team !Bob only picks one team anyway, if they’re fit.
Griff you are sooo wrong,
the way forward with a player like scotland who,s confidence is rock bottom is not to nurture him but to belittle and abuse him!
Just ask newcastle about bramble or bolton with megson! ;)Yes, I do seem to be wrong more often these days, don’t I?
I felt sorry for the lad last night, that could (I say, could) have kick-started his, and possibly the whole teams’s, season.
6 points off Bolton and Blackburn and we’ll be reyt
Yes – great prediction there.
And where exactly, Brains Trust, did I predict we would get 6 points?
Check the prediction league where you will see my 19-pointer for the Blackburn game. All the rest of them were bobbins, mind.
Please only post on this topic if you have something positive to say.
I’ll start…N’Zogbia was brilliant again against Blackburn. Also the way we fought back from 1-0 down was very encouraging.
my bet that jason scotland would not score for us this year is looking pretty safe.
You didn’t read the first post kn obhead
To be fair, he was being positive, just not about the team ;)
I agree about Gomez thought he had a good game just wish he would let fly instead of doing too much, as for scotland the jury is still out on him we all want him too do it but i think he not thinking quick enough in this leagueProbably wouldn’t let fly for fear of being slagged off from all corners of the ground.
… to one and all.
Hope you all have a good one, and if you need to work off some turkey tomorrow afternoon, get down to the DW with your salt and shovels.
Here’s to 3 points on Saturday.
With a squad the size and quality of ours, I wouldn’t advocate getting rid of anyone at all, unless crazy money is mentioned or players actually want away.
As for your guess that all games would have been cancelled if they’d been held on the Monday – I very much doubt it. From what i can gather there is only latics in the top flight who are uncertain as to whether they will be able to put a game on this Saturday. If every other club was in the same boat as us then they’d all be struggling tooWell, we’ll never know will we? I guess the only reason Latics are making noises about Saturday is because they are being asked about it, and sensitive that they had to cancel Monday’s.
That said, they’ll still lose an awful lot of face now, if the Saturday game doesn’t go ahead
“d.i.c.k ends” :)
I can feel the anger in that typing – I bet your full stop key is goosed, isn’t it. Do you have to prise it back out with a knife, or something?
Actually, I only try to disagree with people who I disagree with. And people who are disagreeable.
And stupid.
Only joking, cocker, I’m in one of those moods today. ;)
Carry on!
Can’t win either way, can they Tyldesley? Had they spun that line they would have been slagged just as much, if not more.
It would have been interesting to see how many other games would have survived had there been a full programme that night. I reckon zero – FACT!
Oops, sorry – inapproriate use of “fact” ;)
Why do people insist on using “fact” to follow a manifestly unquantifiable subjective comment?
Dictionaries all round please, Santa
B******* to that Micky, I’d just let most of them go on a free.
Yet again Superfan attempts to rule the board through poor sarcasm, and shows of total unified loyalty with what can at best be described as an optimistic, however, poor state of affairs..
Thing is, if you had it your way the ground would be closer to empty than it is now. I pay my money, have done for a good few seasons, and in the current climate am allowed to say what i like about the lack of effort of some of our players. However, should you be able to convince the administrators of this board to clearly state at the top “Only posts saying everything is great, and how far we have come, and not mentioning any of our dismal performances or over rated playing staff (in part), and by the following 6 posters Griff, etc etc can be displayed. Anyone with any opinion contrary to the above is to refrain from posting as the super fans will take great offence at any negative comments”
Don’t be ridiculous and grow up.
Have you ever met JayT and John Heeley? You think they’d let me – or anyone else – dictate the tone of the board? Get real!
You are entitled to your opinion in any climate mate, just as I am entitled to reply sarcastically should I choose. Normally I do. If you don’t like it, don’t engage in it.
You are also entitled to criticise lack of effort, though I think on this occasion I think we were referring to Scotland weren’t we? If I recall, you called him a pineapple? Now that’s just downright childish. As for his lack of effort, I would have to disagree. I don’t think he’s the best ever but I’ve seen many lazier.
Oh, and stop the “I’ve paid my money for many years” pap. No-one cares.

If anyone is near B&Q, can you pick a few more pegs, please?
New Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will make strengthening his defence a priority in the new year. West Ham centre-half Matthew Upson (£10m), Inter Milan full-back Maicon (£15m), Juventus full-back Giorgio Chiellini (£10m) and Bolton’s Gary Cahill (£10m) are all on the wanted list.

That’s about £300 million on players, and about a £100 on pegs and rawl plugs
B******* to that Micky, I’d just let most of them go on a free.
