Absolute disgrace, he should get his wages docked or another ban for that. Good to see he’s learnt his lesson.
Another D.W. quote
“All my family are Wigan Athletic through and through and when I go I know the club will be well looked after”
Whatever your thoughts on Dave Whelan are he is a very successful business man and if he can find someone to buy the club IMO he would sell to the highest bidder. His defence if it went tits up would be the Premier Leagues fit and proper owners study did not work eg Portsmouth.
Ok Griff were have I said in my post they were my kids???
Sons, nephews, family… same horse, different jockey.
Were in my post did I say that my nephews expected us to win every game???Er, here…
“A young kid is not bothered about stats or 4-4-2 or 3-5-1 they just want to see the team win.”
Oh and I was there in the really dark days when Bill Kenyon was chairman, where you???Most of the time yes, I was. But I obviously did a runner back to university as soon as the collecting buckets came out. Still, it wasn’t all bad – I learned the difference between where/were/wear/we’re while I was their.
I’m afraid Griff I’ve read my post and I have to ask you what the fook you on about??? All the points you raised trying to be funny are bollocks, I never mentioned the kids being mine and also never said they expected us to win every game. As usual you talk out your arse which I pointed out and because you had no come back you decided to be a smart arse and turn it into a spelling competition.
Well done A star. Prick
Miles better than Jones in that position, but I thought he looked better going forward rather than defending.
I’ve made a point of taking my kids since they could walk and to grow up as you say supporting your local team just as i have done since the northern prem days.
My youngest said the other day ;-I don’t like going latic’s no more dad, Martinez is crap !! ,
just to point out , he never mentioned the players ,its black n white to kids no 3-5-2 5-3-2 etc,,,
I’m a latic’s fan , period , but i’m sorry to say Martinez has slowly but surely been found out. He’s in the 16ft 6″ when he should be in the kid’s paddling area with arm bands on.He remind’s of a stubborn old man who want’s to prove he’s right no matter what.as me old man use to say
“you can’t paint a turd !, it will always smell”.Good post that, I have 4 nephews and they just don’t want to go now. At first they were buzzing but now because we get beat every week not interested. A young kid is not bothered about stats or 4-4-2 or 3-5-1 they just want to see the team win. After all I actually thought that was the point.
Silly me.
Calling ths manager a turd, a good post? Well done, big up, you!
And it’s a good job your kids weren’t around watching Wigan when things were really bad then. If your kids want their team to win all the time, I suggest you take them watching United or City then. You may as well, cos you clearly haven’t taught them what supporting your team really means.
Ok Griff were have I said in my post they were my kids??? Were in my post did I say that my nephews expected us to win every game??? And unless they read Cockney Latic which I very much doubt they won’t know my feelings regarding how the club is run. We have a team in Wigan were they can watch live football so I don’t want them never missing a game on the telly.

Your post bears no resemblence whatsoever to mine,it is purely an exercise in name calling because you cannot accept my point of view.
It’s not about who’s right or who is better – I am simply putting forward an opinion as to what is better for Wigan Athletic.
To keep it simple so that you dont end up going completely off track, I’ll just ask you one question:
What constructive benefit do Wigan Athletic get from people like you coming on here and continually slagging the manager off?
About the same benefit as we get from you sticking up for him.
I am not a frequent poster on here. Like many others, I was a regular at one stage but got tired of reading the same old drivel day after day from bedroom football managers seeking to discredit Wigan Athletic at very turn.I don’t stick up for him, I stick up for the club.If he’s sacked tomorrow I’ll back the next man. You’ll probably still be moaning if there’s no improvement.I didnt get into watching Wigan Athletic to demand success, I got into them because they are my local team & they need my support.
I am a mere fan of 30+ years who supports his team. I do not pretend to know what goes on behind closed doors or start crackpot theories about our “clueless clown” of a manager. I very much doubt he has time to read this website but if he does then do you really think he looks & thinks “you know what they’ve got a point there, maybe i should play 442 or make a different substitution, all those coaching badges, all those years playing professional football & clearly i know nothing compared to the many experts on cockney latic who spend all day calling me a clown or a spanish waiter & have an in depth knowledge of tactics, how football transfers work, training regimes & contract negotiations.”
Have you any idea how ridiculous you look?
What is the point in it all? It benefits noone, it’s waste of effort, unless youre getting some kind of inner smugness from it as the opening poster implies & are attention seeking ‘ooh look at me i was right all along’ & revelling in the demise of Wigan Athletic.
Scholes I’ve watched Wigan for longer than you and for all that time I’ve had a season ticket. I wouldn’t even like to know how much time and money I’ve spent watching the Tics. So to suggest I’m enjoying watching Bob ruin our club is well to be honest unbelievable. But I’m not prepared to stick my head in the sand and pretend everything is honky dorey. IMO with Bob in charge were in real danger of going back from were we came from and without much of a fight and that I’m afraid is unacceptable.

he doesn’t strike me as being the happiest bloke in the world.
Fooking ‘ell Hindley! If ever there was a pot – kettle scenario, then this is it!
Thats why I can relate to Charlie ;)
He was awesome for us but he doesn’t strike me as being the happiest bloke in the world so I can’t say it’s much of a surprise.
He was awesome twice, good on half dozen occasions, average a few times and mediocre for the rest of the time.
That said, mediocrity is a lot better than the shite we have at the moment.
I would have him back tomorrow along with the Heskey, Roberts, Cattermole, McCulloch, Bullard etc etc etc[/quIMO a bit harsh that Horc.
they want fire that drummer offdrives me mad that mon
goodpost goodpost goodpost

i thought Mcarthy and Mcarthur were excellent, they rushed and harrowed all the game, if we’d of put Diame on i think we’d of caused them real problemsbut don’t ask my why he took Stam off, he’s arguably got the best right foot in the prem, if anything i’d of put him further forward
and why he keeps puting Albert Pissant on i’ll never know
but don’t ask my why he took Stam off, he’s arguably got the best right foot in the prem.
Moggy please tell me your joking :woohoo:
i must admit i’m a fan of Roberto i always have been, but latley i’m finding his decisions baffling, his formations and subs are terrible and his lack of activity in the transfer window especialy.too vent your anger on here is one thing, its here for opinions and thats what it gets
what i dont agree with is the constant moaning and booing at games afterall its now they need us
Your dead right Moggy booing the team will not make them play any better something I don’t do which is why I vent my frustration on this site.
…Hindley Blue, Loudmouthblue, mighty aff.Do you have the best interests of the club at heart or is it just an attention seeking thing?
rp attention seeking??? grow up will ya. Best interests of the club at heart I believe so, however much you like Bob as a person his 3 season plan has failed terribly. Every season the team has got worse and we are going to get relegated because were crap not because of the referee or being unlucky and all that bollocks. IMO he is the worst manager we have ever had and that includes Kenny Swain who had no money and no chance. Bob spent £6.3m on a striker who has spent 2 seasons since signing on loan and we can’t score goals WTF.
