If they lose to chelski today and fulham don’t lose we will be in the relegation zone with Bolton.This will make the game at the DW Stadium in a couple of weeks a massive game.

The last 4 or 5 games have been well, indifferent to say the least. But is this not down to there being a preseaon with a ‘starting eleven’ that due to injuries hasn’t yet played together?Or are some thinking that when the likes of Alcaraz, Rodallega, Boyce, McCarthy (cos he aint been fit yet) etc come back and we play our ‘strongest team’, we still won’t cut it?
Jayt it’s been obvious since the start of the season James McCarthy has not been fit. We have a large number of midfielders in our squad if there not better than an unfit player why the hell did Bob sign them.
Also injuries are part of the game and yes I think we will be better when everyone is fit BUT Bob keeps going on about our quality squad, strength in depth etc.
I’m sorry Jayt I don’t see any progress and I think we will be up to our neck’s in the brown stuff coming down the stretch again this year.

Edinburgh, nail on the head there. About time people realised that the way this club has to operate, our full strength eleven has to be on the top of its game to compete in this league. When we have to draft people in from the stiffs, we will always struggle even more.
Great point Griff but this is where my frustration is with Bob. Every window he seems to bring in players to bring through not go straight into the first team. I know we cant afford top players but surely we can sign a couple who would walk into the side after all everbody says its the best league in the world so why cant we bring in a little quality to play in it?.
Just a thought but those who think we should be spending vast amounts of money here is a poser for you.

I pay now for corporate hospitality and seat in the West Stand. I would be willing to pay more if we had a good side with money to spend and a bit of excitement. How it would affect our support???? I believe it would increase providing the new ticket prices were not at QPR levels because people want to see a winning team.

We know Gomez isn’t the best, but it would be unfair to single him out.
Caldwell, Figuroa and suprisingly McCarthy don’t seem up to the job at the moment.
The team did look a lot better with the introduction of Stam & McCarthur in the second half.
Hopefully when Boyce and Alcaraz are fit Bob might change it around a bit, and be able to start with his best eleven.
