Martinez should’ve given more of the kids a chance instead of doing just one forced substitution.
It was the only reason I went but instead had to watch much of the usual dross on offer. One of the subs was so small that he must be bloody good to compete at that level so it would have been nice just to see what he could do. It was a real shame McManaman came off as he looked good.

Also Stam has joined the ranks of Ged Brannan and Michael O’ Neil as part of an all time worst XI. The man looked like an amateur last night and was also pretty cowardly ducking out of tackles etc.

Gomez is the most left footed person ever and where does RM play him? instead of playing Moses there.

Foreigners, refugees from other clubs and other sports should all be made welcome. I’m pleased! no I’m not I’m made up. There’s plenty of room at the DW and making us more cosmopolitan cannot be a bad thing if we are to progress, or even survive as a ‘big little team’.

Who gives a solitary flying f**k? its just another little foreign country living beyond its means.

You’ll be there no time at all mate. I think there’s a train at five mins to 1.

That’s terrible RIP young man and God bless you.

Don’t go to Lime St. Its absolutely pointless use the Kirkby route unless you live in Bryn or Garswood.

in reply to: Anfield on the train? #59074

Easily the quickest and cheapest way is to get the Kirkby train from Wigan Wallgate or Pemberton and Orrell which are en route. Then change at Kirkby which is just a 30 yard walk along the same platform and get the Liverpool Central train which is usually waiting. 3 stops later get off at Kirkdale and then Anfield is about a 15 min walk. Goodison was 10 minutes. Coming back just make sure you are at Kirkdale for 5.30pm and you’ll be back in Wigan by 6.20pm after changing at Kirkby again.

Plenty of room and I took my 12 yr old, and you don’t have that crappy 1 hour journey from Wigan to Lime Street.

Is he the big fat eunoch with a shrill voice they call ‘Moose’? The fat tool. I agree many parts of Wigan are a dump like many towns and cities are but how can anyone hail east London?. The only infrastructure improvements in that crime ridden toilet were due to the Luftwaffe 1940-41.

    Facts

    1) The manager is out of his depth. A nice guy and an ex player but he doesn’t have a clue how to progress us. He’ll make an excellent pundit.

    2) The football is tiresome, too slow and negative with sideways and backwards passes that are often counterproductive compared to our opponents, and it drives the crowd mad.

    3) Too many journeyman foreigners. Not talking about true stars like Al Habsi or N’Zogbia but just the usual mediocre rubbish and to be honest I’d sooner see young English kids given a chance.

    4) Whelan has lost interest, otherwise we’d have signed Al Habsi.

I think we’ve had our time in the Prem and we should look forward to the future in the lower leagues, to be honest I’m sick of the avarice and obsession with the Prem that this country has.

Who cares?? , it serves smug people right for going there. As we have young kids we can’t afford to go anywhere term time so I’m glad smug people who have several holidays a year are being nconvenienced. They’re probably unemployed or work for the council or Heinz anyway

Ged Brannan, Michael O’ Neil, Godfrey Peron and Terry Cook spring to mind for awfulness. I, to this day are better than them.

in reply to: So will he play Moses when he`s fit? #56469

He usually gets a game when we’re losing with 3 or 4 minutes of normal time left.

Martinez keeps pipein on about `it will be like 3 new signings`when the injured players return…..

Correct me if am wrong, but Bob never feckin played Victor when he was fit!

in reply to: David Whelan is a Knob. #56434

lol! Should there be a ‘k’ in there somewhere?

    Nob off Vorderman!

in reply to: Helen Chamberlain #56430

    What an enchanting photograph.

As long as she didnt try talking to me about football I might just be able to keep it up long enough to give her a good seeing to !! :)

in reply to: I can think of 1 positive from todays game…. #56429

Two useless slower than me jocks. The sporting wing of the Chuckle Bros.

Gary Caldwell got a straight red and will miss three games…… Possibly the worst donkey to play for Latics in the Premier league era.

i think that he may only get a one game ban – sending off for preventing a goal scoring opportunity is a technical offence and one game – it is not dangerous or serious foul play which is a 3 game ban.

but i agree with you he is a donkey -one of a ‘drove’ of donkeys that martinez has brought in[/quote]
