He found his level that’s the top and tail of things here ! If he is to get more time on the field then I would suggest a loan spell in the Championship but he is definitely not good enough for the Prem at this moment in time !
To be honest Filmoss I agree with you this time. If we were safe then I wouldn’t mind seeing him given a few starts just to see if he can improve, but I have said it myself in the past, looks alright but I think his level will be lower down the leagues, not looked great when he has been given a run at the end of games and is too lightweight. Sometimes you can forgive a player for being lightweight when they have a lot of skill and talent to go with it (Walcott for example) but this isn’t the case here I’m afraid.
giving players 15 minutes here and there at the end of games doesn’t do them any good really. he needs to be starting games thus gaining valuable experience and iam sure he will become a great player. i would deffo start him at reading, his confidence must be sky high.Although the current team aren’t playing great, I think all we can give McManaman is 15 minutes here or there, with ourselves currently in the relegation zone and needing valuable points wherever we can get them I don’t think now is the time to be giving people ‘experience’.. If we were already safe on the other hand, this would be the ideal time to give him starts and give him the experience for the start of next season. We have to stick with the already experienced for the moment, unfortunately.

Nah, He is one of those United players they get from time to time that get carried by the rest of the team. Butt, P Neville, Gibson, Sharpe, Carrick, Richardson, Bellion, Kleberson, Manucho, Djemba Djemba, Obertan. Put those type of player in any other side and they look extremely average and soon disappear.
Never rated Welbeck, and there is truth in you get picked for England depending on which club you play for.

Have to disagree sorry Spaulding. Capt Fantastic? He may be Capt but NOT fantastic. Have seen numerous Everton games (Against us amongst others) and he has never stood out, just looks average.

He looked average at Sunderland too. Nto good enough for Utd OR England. Don’t think he has much time left at UTD, but as someone stated earlier that he is better than our forwards so I would take him here ;)

Like every year they will probably play good football and fail to win (sound familiar?) but I cannot stop this bet from happening. I love the football they play when they play well and have some of my favourite players aswell. The fact that I would be distraught if I didn’t place the bet and they actually won plays a part in me continuing this bet. ;)
I DON’T think England will win, but of course I will HAVE to place money on them in pure hope :)

As we are still able to sign players who are unattached to a club, is there any out there we know of that could be of use to us?Personally, I think we could maybe have brought in Steven Warnock from Villa, as he was available on a free. I think he would’ve been a decent addition to the squad. He’s gone to Leeds on a free.
As for out of contract players, I’ve scoured the PFA list and non actually jump out at me. Most are youngsters or lower league journey men.
Therefore we must look abroad. I wonder if Ricardo Quaresma is still available?
And suddenly Amr Zaki seems very appealing on a short-term deal.

If Man Utd win the league this season, with that squad, then it says a lot about the quality of the league. B)
