If I recall correctly (I may be wrong though, it’s that long since it started) the point of the thread (after the gratuitous listing of the contents of the BBC gossip page) was whether Koumas deserved another chance or not. The implication is that whenever he has got a second (or third) chance in the starting line up, one would have expected him to have bust a gut to prove his worth – whether he delivers or not. His talent and skill is not in question – I for one think he is potentially one of the best players we have ever had, but unfortunately, the football league is littered with clubs he has played for who have the same opinion. Therefore, at a reputed £30k per week, many Wigan fans think it is time to show him the door and give someone else the opportunity. That is all the discussion is about, nothing to do with Scotland or anyone else, for that matter.
Now, unless your response to this is “Oh, OK Griff, I get it now”, don’t bother posting because I’ll be drawing a line under it.
Oh, ok griff I understand now, I already understood, but I was making another point, just because it isnt about the original conversation (which, by the way wasn’t if he deserves another chance, it was about who we should sign and was me who said he should be in the tema over scotland) doesnt mean that I cannot make my own comment, and my comment was simple, I would prefer him in the team over scotland even if he is being lazy. Berbatov is lazy, doesnt mean he doesnt deserve to be playing where he is. Koumas is better than most of what we have, and deserves to be in the team ahead of Scotland, that is all I was saying.
So if you was researching a subject of any kind , in order to back up your arguement , you would produce articles which agree with your viewpoint , wouldnt you?
