Well I certainly didn’t own one 10 years ago and I certainly don’t think many if any at all owned one on my window cleaning round, which is a pretty affluent area I hasten to add ! I see one of my stalkers has jumped on board, the one from Manc land !

I don’t know who.. But I vote for the Wing Back. Preferably (Definitely) the LWB. Anything to replace Beausejour. B)
It’s ok constantly referring to how Wigan played in last seasons run in but that was an enigma and has in no way whatsoever been replicated since, why is this ? It is a mystery to me ! This season has been poor on the whole and there is very little evidence performance wise to counter my observation ! Something is not right and I just think that some of the excuses are feeble. Opinion mind !!
I was just referring to the last season’s run in response to people saying our style of play is boring.
It isn’t always, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be. When it clicks, it works brilliantly well and I’d rather watch a team playing well with our style of play than one playing well with kick and rush tactics.
A couple of things summed some of our supporters up for me on Saturday. One bloke near me was screaming for them to stop with this all this ‘possession rubbish’ and get it forwards, then was on his feet again when it was lumped forward and they lost possession, and when Stam miscontrolled the ball and it when into touch, someone jumped up and called Martinez a ‘dick head’.

If somebody actually said/shouted that then it must be a joke. Nobody with any braincells would make a comment like that seriously. The ONLY reason for anybody making that comment would be if it was said in jest.
LWB is our greatest need, Beausejour is absolute garbage and I don’t think he wants to put Figgy there.

Have you asked Roberto this question? If not how do you know?? He may think he is the weakest link but knows nobody that we can realistically capture to replace him so isn’t bothering? ;)
But seriously, even I don’t believe that what I wrote above is true (although technically it is possible).. And I don’t expect him to replace JB, I just personally think that he is currently our worst player so I personally would want him to look for a replacement for that position. I do think a LWB is our greatest need in all honesty. Suppose it’s just wishful thinking then ay? B)

May be a long shot here but I’m hoping recalling Dicko from his loan spell at Blackpool is to offer Palace on loan as part of a deal for Zaha.Holloway has had both McMannaman and Dicko on loan in the past and we’ve dealt with Palace twice in the past (that I can remember) with deals for Watson and Moses.
Palace are doing really well so I’m sure there’s a few players worth looking at. The 2 that spring to mind though are Zaha and Glenn Murray.
It may however just be a case of adding extra cover to the strikers positions with it looking likely Kone will be going to the African Nations.
I think Zaha is WAYYYYY out of our reach.. But that being said, if he gets told to look at Moses and what he achieved then maybe he could be convinced :) Incredibly unlikely though.
Not seen much of Murray so wouldn’t like to comment.
I also had a winner on that game,I collected mine before the next game under the South stand no issue.However they would like you collect online if possible that way you open an account with them and gamble your life away on line.

Why did u pack in then when you were winning wads of money. You inferred that you used to bet online which infers you don’t now. If I had the poker tallent that you claim then I would still be cleaning them out.
PS Hope this thread doesn’t trigger filmoss into starting his nags tipster service.[/quote]I used to play a lot whilst bored to be honest, but online is full of bad beats, so even with pure skill you tend to get beat every so often, ‘co-incidentally’ when the stakes are high. I still won money but the chances and seemingly fixed beats made me not want to risk it anymore, I prefer to play live.
Since moving in with my Partner I completely stopped with the hours of online Poker, and with rent and bills etc to pay for and a lot more outgoings I have stopped Poker completely more or less, although if she is working late I may log on and have a cheeky tenner or so B)
A new right wing back? Do you have someone in mind?Boyce is playing well, although Martinez will have to consider a replacement in due course. And Stam has been a good stand-in while Boyce has been in the back three.
That’s not to say that there aren’t better players in the league, but I wouldn’t say that a right wing back is our greatest need at the moment.
However, you don’t always know where the problems are going to occur. I think that Ramis has been an enormous asset this season. With all their injuries to centre backs, I hate to think where Wigan would have been without him.
I also wouldn’t think RWB is our greatest need.

Good for you…most people don’t have a positive experience on such sites.True.. Poker is different though as there’s a skill element involved… If you are as naturally gifted at the game like myself it can turn a big profit for you B)
