Just for the record, Rosler brought Figs in on an emergency loan due to the injury crisis . He mentioned Boyce, two Taylor’s, Perch and Ramis at the time as all being out through injury. The Perch rumour is therefore a load of buncombe.

Apart from McCarthy the other three were hardly inspired signings.
Robles, Kone and Alcaraz have made a grand total of 19 appearances between them including all cup matches and substitute appearances.
Alcaraz was injured again yesterday and is expected to be out for a long period.

That was a great save from the bird man on Saturday, most goalies would have been proud of it. Once again, an absolute howler from the ref and his assistants, they seem to be getting worse. As for the refs in the championship, my 5 year old grand kid could officiate better. It’s not just us that have had some bad decisions, the teams we’ve played have also had as many.

How about playing this line up at home…

Carson
Tav Ramis Barnett Fig
Calum Forshaw Kvist MClean
Fortune Waghorn

2 wingers. 2 holding midfield, Forshaw to push forward when appropriate. Waghorn fluid, could be 442 or 4411.

We have lots of attacking options but we seem scared of expressing ourselves on the pitch. Not surprising when the players have no idea whether they will be playing next game.

We can still take this division by the scruff of the neck. We have the players. Do we have the manager to try it?

That line up could be worth a try.
Impossible line up Tuesday, Barnett is suspended for one game but yes the next home game perhaps.
I cannot believe you would leave Espinoza out after the two games he has just played. That would be typical Rosler and most of us have agreed we don’t like all these changes.

As Paul Jewell once said, the fans are superb at picking the team AFTER the game!

Well the site defending is another subject. I am all for keeping a winning team but for shires sake Rammis was fit today but didn’t Rob who isn’t good enough stated ahead of him. All down to Rosler. 2 points given away by Roslers shire tactics and selections again.

I’d go back to drinking shandies pal, that post stinks of a drunken splurge.

I must be seeing something different than some, thought Cowie was our MOM, closely followed by Fortune.

Forshaw just needs some consistency, so does Tavs. The central defenders were both woeful and should not see any further first team action for a while, one forced due to 3 match ban, the other is a no brainer.
Not sure who should play alongside Ramis on Tuesday, but would put Maloney in there before Kiernan. :woohoo:

I think you are. Fortune yes, but please explain why you thought Cowie was MOM today.
To stand out in our current midfield can’t be all that difficult and to single him out would be unfair. I mean, if Roger is turning out to be our best mid-field player then it doesn’t say much about the rest.

And another thing, isn’t it only a one match ban for a professional foul?
Cowie covers every blade of grass, works tirelessly off the ball and does the simple things well when on the ball. Just because he doesn’t go dancing past players, or plays fancy little dinks here and there, doesn’t mean he is playing bad. I liken him to a Paul Rodgers type, goes about his business without being the stand out player. Might just be me, but I appreciate what he does for the team, but more importantly so does Rosler. B)

Conceded 3 goals on his debut, not a great start to his Brighton loan spell.

I believe a former Arsenal player was once in the Parachute Regiment, some of you may know him as Para Sol Campbell.

Wayne Biggins always had an orange face if that’s any good.

Clayton Blackmore always had an orange face, too. Do I get two points for that?
Just one I’m afraid, just looked it up in the English dictionary and there is no colour called Clayton.
