What a journey! What about David “Super Sub” Fairclough.

If that is not the most pointless signing in the history of signings I don’t know what is.

I remember him coming out with this shyte about us not playing to his strengths, which for the record were non-existent.

What a journey! When I saw him and Ben Watson standing over the ball at the free kick I was hoping and praying that Jordi would take it even though it was on the wrong side for a left footer.
The only thing I can say about that result is “JUSTICE WAS DONE!”

What a journey!Yeah, yeah, Yeah,
Not two proper sentences and one edit. :woohoo:

What a journey!Seems like you’ve been doing a bit of driving lately Griff, but bailed out of doing the long haul to Brighton. B)
Not long now, I’d like to be beside you when downing your first pint tomorrow. :P

What a journey! No we don’t all wish him well in his new career, that is what this thread is all about.
Which just goes to show you up as the bunch of children that you are, which is what most people’s response to you on this thread is all about.
PS He has not got a new career, he is a football manager exactly the same career as he had at Wigan Athletic. Now if he had joined Everton as their new physio then yes he would have had a new career. :PThe poster clearly meant wish him well in his new career move. But, if that’s the best you can do, then I think it is indeed time to close down this thread and move on.
…and yet its ok for you to pick posters up on spelling mistakes?
I think griffy wiffy has got upset that some people don’t like bobbsy wobbsy and bobbsy wobbsy plugged griffy wiffy’s booksy wooksy.
FFS man just accept the fact that some people think Martinez pished on our club. I know its proving hard for you to grasp, but me and many others will not change our minds just cos you say we should.PS Where is mystic meg these days, is he still waiting for that lad from Brentford to join us, or did he get him mixed up with the lad from Leicester who signed for us today. What a journey! It was a very important midweek programme – for Premier League clubs, that is. The results could well have a significant influence on league positions at the end of the season.
Some of us still take an interest in the Premier League. I’d say the results are worthy of a mention here – or are comments to be limited to just one aspect of sport within the borough?
As I said in an earlier post there are plenty of Everton message boards, they will be more than happy on having a new member with such a broad Everton/Martinez knowledge, why not try them out.
To be honest the ‘lightside’ and ‘darksiders’ are probably more united than in the last four years on Martinez, he is HISTORY and we all wish him well in his new career.
He has moved on so why don’t you.
What a journey!Aye but United sold out your away end. Arsenal hardly brought any that night. Home fan average means there wouldn’t be much in it. You concern yourself with statistics and crowds an awful lot. What’s your obsession with a tinpot club like ours then? I’ll give you one stat. Sunderland last won a major trophy in 1973. Yes. That’s your right your massive club with all its legions of fanatics has not won a major trophy to approaching 41 years. I’ll bet you now that it gets to 50 and you still won’t beat our feat of winning the FA cup in the modern era. Jealousy is such an ugly trait Mutty old boy!I would crawl back under yer stone mutty, you are getting rag dolled from every quarter.

What a journey! No more loan players for me, if we get promoted we`ll have no players to put a team out next season when all the loanees return to their parent clubs. Imagine, Uwe would basically have to buy a new team putting them together to keep us in the premiership doesn’t seem the right thing for me we`ll be at a disadvantage straight from the start.Exactly and that’s the plan!
Whats the alternative, bring a load of players in on thousands per week, miss out on promotion and be left with a pile of debt.
You need to think outside the box, like one shrewd German is certainly doing. :cheer:

What a journey!….and recoup all the money we’ve spent on his medical treatment for the past few years.
Why, have you never heard of insurance policies?
Have you never heard of tongue in cheek posts?. I can understand reeling in some posters on here, but thought you was more switched on than that Griff. :P
The clue is in the little emoji at the end of my comment.
Sammy, I would personally put Ramis in my best 11 players to have played for latics in the Prem, he is an immensely talented player there is no doubting that. However to be effective, they have to be on the barsteward pitch week in week out. Therefore having played only 17 games since he signed in 2012, for me he gets allocated the same silo as Steve McMillan and Anthony Alcaraz.
Yes I do know a good player when I see one, but I also know a crock when I see one too. I’ll take a “talented player” any day who is available on the majority of match days over an “immensely talented player” who is available for less than 30% of them.
I wish him well and better luck with injuries, at whichever club he signs for.

What a journey!Piss off Mutty and take your squatting parasite egg chasing cuckoos to a rugby town like Widnes St Helens or Salford. Get the pitch ruining scum bag vermin off our ground please Mr Whelan.……over to you Yosser..
