Griff, he scored a few for Blackpool at this level last season and my Blackpool mates were quite impressed with him. Apparently had a knack for getting on the end of stuff in the box – so I think I’d like to see him given a chance. He’s got loads more pace than our other front men, but then again I suppose that’s not too hard!

What a journey!Totally agree with Espinoza being MOM in Marabo and should be first name on the team sheet. His energy levels are humungous and keeps the ball well. Saw some good performances last night the team already look like they have cast away their shackles and are hungry again. :cheer:

Just let me remind you Barnsley that “I DID NOT FECKIN CHRISTEN MARTINEZ BOTTOM FOUR BOB”, we have gone over this a million times and you still harp on about it. I will admit I want him to fail big style and if he doesn’t beat last season’s 6th place position he will have. Please read the post from the beginning and stop this bottom four Bob malarkey. I never thought in a million years that Everton would finish in the bottom four, but that is based purely on their squad of players, not the tactical nous of RM.

What a journey!It’s interesting to see that the posters who were fully behind Roberto during his time with Wigan[me included], talked season after season about giving him time to get the players in position to adopt his style of play, are now [me excluded,] talking about him being a huge success at Everton.
My fellow lightsiders, lets go back to our principles and agree once again that the season doesn’t end in December.
Whilst his team are being lauded for beating Man utd for the first time in eons, for getting something at the Emerites, [sounds familiar doesn’t it?]he actually hasn’t achieved jack shyte yet. In fact Everton were one place higher than they are now, this time last season having played one game more and having 2 points less. Nothing much changed there then, perhaps slight advantage to Martinez.
So lets leave things for the time being and see were they finish. That’s 6th with 7 defeats and 63 points to aim for. He’s started very well even though a few of the games he has smashed and grabbed a win having been second best for most of the game.
For the time being I’m firmly behind Team Rosler and that’s were you’ll find me for the next 4-5 months. :cheer:
