Was in the prawn butty section at Ewood Park a few years ago. We sat at the glass window with a drawn curtain behind us. Our pints were on a table immediately behind the curtain so we had to turn round, put our head through the curtain, take a swig and turn back to face the window.
Now if that’s not rules gone mad I don’t know what is. :silly:

What a journey!Good luck today to the Warriors, lets hope they can make it a unique double for our Town.Nice to also see club Wembley seats totally empty, great that legal touts and speculators are not making money from ordinary fans, 2013 has not been a good year for them.
Shouldn’t this post be on the non football forum under the heading “Who gives a shiny shyte”.

What a journey!Hopefully the whole charade will implode one day and give us fans of football a welcome return of value for money and more importantly our game back ! The way Arsenal celebrated finishing 4th was the final straw for me and it eased the blow of relegation for me massively ! News today was of a possible £80m transfer deal for Gareth Bale ! WTF is all that about !! £80m, the World has gone fuckin mad !
This is coming from a chap who charges 15-20 quid for throwing a bit of water at some panes of glass.
It’s the same yardstick mate if someones willing to pay that much then there are plenty out there willing to take it. :P B)
The average semi is £7 so not sure where you get your figures from ! We know you miss the Prem dearly but I certainly don’t !
Now come on Mr Moss I remember you distinctly talking about the posh estates you clean for and the money you got, no mention of the average semi at that time.
As for the prem, Yes I dearly want us to get back there ASAP, missing it No, I’m still watching and supporting my team like I have done both in the Prem and also non league.
Shouldn’t you be out there now its stopped raining, dry shammy? B)

What a journey!Hands up if you have ever joined in this chant when an opposition goalie is taking a goal kick;
“you’ve got aids……….off Bill Kenyon!.

What a journey! The media have a lot to answer for too. They hype up the PL and European competition (and yes, I know that may include us), but pay no attention to anything else.
Even when there is home-grown talent, and here I am thinking of Callum McManaman, the media fuel the furore to demonise him.
Well, I’m probably off to Brocstedes this afternoon – St Helens Town are playing North West Counties league leaders (won 5/5) Maine Road. And I’ll bet there’s no rolling around like they’ve been shot.
If its a team from Manchester playing, then take it that when a player does go down like a sack of spuds, he has been shot!

What a journey!one thing that stuck out me the other night with was the hunger and desire of those Doncaster players seizing their chance of playing in a higher league.
We started very brightly but came up against a fantastic goalkeeper and to be honest were VERY VERY lucky to get that point but what a great game of football and I enjoyed it despite the result.
it was a wake up call that we needed however we did extremely well to get back those two goals and I doubt we will be as sloppy on Sunday. The moaners should get behind the team and enjoy the new challenge and it’s coming to something when a so called small club lie doncaster bring more fans than the most pointless football club ever in Dulham.
Enjoy the moments and remember a league like this one is a marathon rather than a sprint and to be honest I thought our supporters were superb the other night .We may have lost the 3000 johnny come lately tossers who have probably deserted now we are not in the so called promised land but after the noise we made the other night are we any worse off?
looking forward to Sunday! How many wake up calls do we need??. Losing to Bournemouth should have been the first and only wake up call.
We need to quickly drop the johnny Big Bollux attitude and get fighting like we are renowned for.
I saw players on Tuesday that were strutting around like turkey cocks chest out and don’t dare to tackle me looks on their faces. This team has enough quality to win this league by Easter, but they need to understand that there are no “gimmies” in the championship.
I would like to see James Thur back in the team Sunday alongside the other James. That lad is a grafter and would be first name on the team sheet for me.
Lets kick this lone striker malarkey into touch and put the fear of god into the Boro centre backs by unleashing Holt and fortune from the off.No more wake up calls Owen, the coffee is getting cold.

What a journey! If that’s a tongue in cheek post fair enough, but you must have been facing the wrong way in your seat. :P
I thought Holt was our best player by a country mile. He had two great efforts in the first 20 mins or so getting on the end of two crosses that Kone and Di Santo would have been 4 yards away from getting a touch.
He ran the channels superb and challenged and won his fair share of headers, only to find our mid-fielders 10 yards off the pace.
When Fortune came on and supported him, they caused havoc between um. The Dickov incident showed that he has a bit of passion for our club.
I was not over the moon when we signed Holt to be honest, but his performance tonight has convinced me he will be our trump card this season.
I honestly cant believe you posted that!

What a journey!he decided not to for reasons unknown
I guess we will never know but if I were to start guessing it would be along the lines of.
More money, bigger wage budget, bigger transfer budget, bigger crowds, one of the worlds best youth training facilities, more appreciative message boards, A new challenge, better players to implement his demanding style of play, more club staff, higher wage budget for backroom staff such as a team of data analysts, bigger scouting network, a good influx of young talent to pick from each year.
Just to name a few things like.
But how much silverware have they won in there last 10-15 seasons? I’ll name one team that has won more than them. B)
