I was at the game v Scunny away when Beefy made his debut and we absolutely destroyed them. Good to see the old Springy Scene again and I too would have been at the game. Some greats from the past on the old teamsheet.
Just two words to sum up that Scunny game…”Les Brad” goodpost

What a journey!Sounds good that Mark although don’t expect any thumbs up just yet as we don’t know what day or time we will be playing.
We have a great bunch of fans by the way, who will be out for a great day of football and beer nothing else. B)

What a journey!Changing allegiances ? Meltdown ? Not me ! Don’t get your singing reference ?We do talk about things that have been said on here, what is wrong with that ? I do have a badge with my avatar on it that I wear though !
Nothing wrong with correcting a few false comments either in my book but at the end of the day most posts on here are a wind up anyway, I should know ! I’ll be there on Sunday as I cant let my fans down now can I ! I guess being a big hitter on here can have its draw backs but I wouldn’t change it for the World ! See ya Sunday brethren !
Just toying with you buddy. :P
The singing ref was aimed at Mr Meltdown, who is probably formulating a PM as I type. B)

Here Here, I for one will never get sick of sticking two fingers to that shower. goodpost
As I said to Filmoss George, if you are fed up with the rugby taunts don’t read the threads. It is that simple.
Perhaps you can also monitor this site for the likes of LOTP, Muttymithingy and other chubsters and stop them from posting on this “football” forum.Truelatic posted for a reaction and got it from both Rugby and Latics fans. goodpost

What a journey!maybe this cup run will be an ultimate barganing tool for us as everyone will want to play at wembley may make disanto figs and co sign a new deal to get a starting place at wembley id state only players fully committed to wigan will play.Good call meatnprater, they may be yet more ex latics player to leave for better things and never play at Wembvley or win any silverware. :woohoo:
If I was Bobby I’d bust a gut to retain Figs and Alcaraz. FDS is another story.

What a journey! And here’s me thinking there is only one poster on here that can go into melt down mode.
Well done Fil, that is the Lionel Messi of “cringe-worthy” attempts to change allegiances. :P
By the way, where is the singing………….. B)

What a journey!Playing on a Sunday has sorted my little problem out. We’ve got tickets for the Motown night at the DW for the Saturday.

What a journey! We already have the players who can make it work but for various reasons they are not performing to the best of their abilities and so questions must be asked rather than sticking our heads in the sand and saying ” Yeah but look how far we have come ” !I would sorta agree with the first bit of that Fil, if you had put the word “consistently” after the word “performing”.

What a journey!I just want certain players who have the ability to put more effort in and if they cant be bothered sometimes then neither can I. They are on damn good money and are paid to perform to the best of their respective abilities, they are for want of a better word investments to the club and as a fan who would like to see us be more successful I would like to see such investments come to fruition, no crime in that !There’s no harm in that at all Fil, I hope it all works out for you.

What a journey!Surely progress isnt just measured by points tally and league positions.Any club the size of ours is constantly going to struggle on the field.Im not saying Roberto is a great manager, ive always stated I would have rather him have a more experienced backup than Jonesy and Barrow. But as a Club man I reckon the lad has been superb.Obviously most fans want it to happen on the pitch week in week out regardless of the risks or consequencies.Bobby however has showed that Mr Whelans brilliant acumen has rubbed off on himself.Surely even the darkest of darksiders would,nt want us to go the way of Portsmouth at the risk of a quick fix spending spree.QPR have massive wage bills and their debt is spiralling out of control and will be in real peril if they go down so has flashing the cash and offering stupid high wages done them any good?.So if you really think we are going backwards under Bobby maybe we should count our blessings compared to some ;)In the time Bobby has been manager of Wigan Athletic
Rangers have folded and reappeared in Scottish Div 3
Portsmouth have gone into meltdown and into the lower echelons of the football league
Birmingham City have become the new Portsmouth
Coventry have gone a similar way and they were even talking about groundsharing with Hinckley a while back
Wolves have enormous money problems and it may become critical
QPR have lost the plot and with a smaller gate than ours are heading straight down the Portsmouth route
Many more clubs too many to mention are facing financial heartache in the months to come
WIGAN ATHLETIC HAVE REDUCED THE CLUBS DEBT AND ARE HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION……………………….Progress methinks.
That’s gone way over the heads of some of the posters on here.
