What a journey! No need to apologise for being thick pal. :P

What a journey!you mean the plodders who played in europe whilst we were just about about avoiding the drop? are you real?We could get a team off this board and get into Europe. That Europa league has got worse than the play offs in soup or leak. Avoid finishing bottom and your in it.
Stoke are a deffo a bunch of plodders who have blagged their way into a 5 year stay in the EPL. Now that big ears is not getting in the team regular to throw the ball to the tall lazooms, they will not get the results they have been scraping.
If anyone wants to bet me that Stoke will finish higher than Latics this season, PM me and we’ll discuss the stakes. B)From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!I still get it and like to read about what’s happening in and around Wigan. It’s not just a sports rag.
However, in the Monday pull out sports section it had the number “1” against all the stats in the Saints v Latics match, total shots, shots on goal etc etc. Looks like once again the editor must have skipped past the sports pages when he knew the Latics had won.

What a journey!Fair comments although IMHO you are being a little harsh on Albert. Thought he played quite well without looking a massive threat.
Watson failed to take his chance, but Gomez and Jones deffo took theirs along with a good late cameo from Macmanaman. Not seen enough of Ryo yet to give any constructive comments one way or another. Broke well and had good vision for the last goal, but that was about it.
Oh how I wish Gomez was given that much time and space in the prem, he would be a £50m player at todays going rates. :woohoo:

What a journey! He used to play for Wrexham and I remember him scoring agen us at the racecourse ground many moons ago. :woohoo:
I don’t think he’s played anywhere near the top level in English football, but the way our defence, Caldwell in particular, has turned their game around, he deserves a medal the size of a dustbin lid. goodpost

What a journey! In addition (as alternative to Tuncay) …Reported (Daily Mail) to be considering a bid for Bolton £7m-rated winger (South Korean, Lee Chung-Yong, 24), suffered broken leg last year, back to form this ?
Would be surprised to see us invest so heavily. Still if Mr Deep Pockets
has got the bit between the teeth and is committed to Top 10 finish, you never know ….My noblot season ticket mate says his nerves have been shattered following the horrific double leg break he sustained 12 months ago. He says he is pulling out of every tackle at the moment and just hasn’t the confidence yet to function as well as he did before the injury. There’s nowt saying he won’t get back to his best, but it may be a gamble with the transfer fee that’s being banded about. :woohoo:

What a journey!Think we should know by now that premier league players are only after one thing! Most players that have left have gone backwards whilst their bank balances have gone upwards!Unless your a manager and your name happens to be Roberto Martinez!

What a journey! Not too worried misell about the media having a go at another clubs crowds, but nearly 30k on? not a fekin chance. There were more gaps than Terry Thomas’s teeth. even their own fans say it was nowhere near the actual crowd.
milton Saint; Can anyone understand why the crowd was 29,604 when it looked like there were far more empty seats….
official stat was 29,604. But it looked bare! Loads of empty seats in Itchen and Northam.

Why is it that teams who play in red and white have this thing about exagerating their crowds? B)

What a journey! Was on that ground back in the early 70’s when united played them in the cup. Don’t ask me why I was there it was a teenage thing. About 2 mins from the end about 200 united fans piled out the away end and marched into the home end.
What followed was the biggest pitch battle I’ve ever seen or been involved in. If you wern’t hitting somebody, some feker was hitting you. The ref blew for full time early and the battle was still raging at 6 o’clock the police just couldn’t handle it.
I also remember some united fans hanging from trees just outside the ground to get a view.
Fond memories of a ground steeped in history and got a cold shiver when returning quite a few years later watching the tics in a cup match. :cheer:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Backs my theory up to a t. Club losing player says he was shyte, club gaining player says what a brill signing.

What a journey! This is a typical reaction by fans to a player who leaves to join another club and I’m probably included in this.
If he stays, he is a great prospect who can get you at the edge of your seat with his trickery and pace. The scoop trick gets a great roar of anticipation from the crowd, he can beat players with ease.
If he goes, he is a one trick pony who can’t put a good cross in, can’t pass or make the right decision when the goal is at his mercy.
Just seen his stats for last season on SSN and it looks pretty impressive.
The lad IMHO is already a better than average premier league winger who might end up being something special in the next 2-3 years.
That my friends is why Chelsea have finally decided to pay the reported £7m up front with add ons up to £9m.
Who do you think does their scouting, Stevie Wonder? :dry:From Matlock to ManU
