If the pay off is too much why not bring in an owd yed like Warnock and get him sit along side of cook, make sit down for 90 mins and concentrate on tactics. Booked again for arguing with 4th official, its got embarrassing now!

What a journey!I shouted down to Cook and Richardson “we should be clapping that after 8 mins not 88” at which point they turned to the field shoulders dropped and heads hung.
Get somebody in now who can weigh the squad up for 4-5 games before the window opens. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! Why oh why did he have to make ANY subs let alone take your best player off. Thought we looked comfortable up to that point and played some good stuff going forward. That game was lost due to poor substitutions, Cook cannot defend what he did. The only player that should have been subbed was Jacobs and that should have been done at half time or before.
Time to go Cook I’m afraid, turning round to the crowd and clapping when Joffy spun and shot on 88 mins was a fekin joke. Too little too late yet again. Weekend spoilt again! From Matlock to ManU
What a journey! If fans want to take negatives from that performance then they are never going to be pleased. I’ve never seen us attack like that in numbers for a long time. At times we had 4 and 5 in their box. Fans might say its a case of papering over the cracks, and I can fully understand why, but give credit where credits due.
That was 200% better than how we’ve previously been shaping away from home. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Good point well deserved 4-4-2 looked much better, had more attempts than we’ve had in the previous 10 away games.
14 shots 7 on target. Waaaaooow

What a journey! We will dominate the game for long periods, look the far better team than Millwall and at some point go 1-0 up. Cook will make some ridiculous changes when there was no need to and we will concede 2 late goals, the winner in injury time. Why are we bothering with these predictions anymore we all know what will happen.

What a journey! If fans don’t go just because they think the manager should get sacked then we don’t want them. What do you think it will achieve even if a few hundred drop off? I’ll tell you, fek all.
Stop this nonsense about voting with your feet, this is not directed at you personally its anyone who is thinking of not going. Believe me nobody at the club will give a shiny shyte and its them who make the decisions. I really believe we need to change the manager, but if they put a penguin in charge I would still be there behind my team. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I see he got a booking again for remonstrating with the 4th official. Why doesn’t he sit down with his team and put more of his energy into talking tactics. That was a woeful Stoke today, can fully see why they are still below us in the league. We should have took um out big style!

What a journey!I think we will dominate the game for long periods, look head and shoulders above Stoke, score early in second half to go 1-0 up, and then let in an injury time equaliser. The game will finish 1-1Got 75% of it right.

What a journey!Things could have been a lot more concerning if the MoU had been issued to Next Independent Leader Limited.
Wigan Athletic NILL would have been a hard pill to swallow.

What a journey!League one is probably our level as a club. We can’t compete in Championship financially which has been proved year in year out and our attendances are poor in comparison to the majority of clubs. Obviously Preston are a well drilled side with a better Manager but even they get around 25% higher attendances. Yesterday was poor. My understanding is Cook ain’t going anywhere but sure Messrs Brownbill et al will continue their frustrations ranting and raving over the next few days before slowly piping down and accepting the situation until the next defeat.
So we just accept this garbage thats being served up?
He should be out the door tomorrow, but I can’t see that happening, as apparently Darren Royle has said he won’t be sacked under any circumstances.
The crowds are constantly on the dwindle, and you can’t blame anybody. Its getting cold now as well and in all honesty, unleas we pick up good results in these aways at Stoke and Millwall, if Cook is still in charge for the Reading game, I will be voting with my feet and giving it a miss. I think a few more people will as well.
Our home form was keeping him in a job, but thats gone now. There is no excuse or reason NOT to sack him, apart from our chairman and board showing him blind faith. That yesterday, was the final straw.[/quote]Is it not at times like this, fans have to get behind their team?. There’s an old saying its easy to support a successful team. We all support Wigan Athletic Football club, not a manager, chairman or players, they all come and go and we remain.
Whether we think Cook should go I think its an overwhelming yes, but there’s not a cat in hells chance that I will turn my back on WAFC even if we get 3 successive relegations and end up back in none league football.
If its From matlocktomanu and back again, so beit, but I really hope we can turn it around Cook in charge or otherwise. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!I must admit that this time I have to agree with you.
Out played in the first half, looked like we had never played together yet keeps same team to start the second half. Sitting within 20 yards of him, Ive noticed he spends more time moaning to the 4th official than he does talking tactics with his coaches. At one point he called Richardson over, I thought here goes he’s going to discuss changing things, only to see Richardson go and bring him a cup of tea.
Yes, the time has come for a change, that squad is better than that, it just needs better coaching. From Matlock to ManU
