IMO….2pts lost against an average side.
Fek me posters have spent ages telling us how a better manager Mowbery was, how well Blackburn have done, we more than match them, they suddenly become an average side.

We were getting no shots on target not too long ago so 4 against a team that everyone was saying we should emulate, is not as bad as you make out. Lighten up a bit buddy even the media was full of praise for us. Don’t let your yearning for another manager step in the way of a decent performance.

Everyone was bumming Blackburn up before the game, so bossing them for long periods, more efforts on goals, commentators saying you would think Wigan was the team fighting for promotion, means no negatives from me.

What a journey!Totally agree……I would like to pose a question to certain posters who say Cook can’t be sacked because of the financial implications concerning the FFP rules. Where has this info come from and where is the proof that our club would fall foul of these rules ?. Are the posters party to all the recent financial documentation ? and are they in regular dialogue with the board ?…..Would like to see facts supporting the continued presence of Cook as manager. Now for the facts regarding the reasons for dumping him……well they’re there for everyone to peruse………..and getting worse by the game…….Win only tomorrow …..no more bull from him.I think these facts say it all “He’s still our manager”

What a journey!Nah……I think he’s comments are fair,and at present he’s proved he’s a far superior manager to our lost cause. League table proves that.

Why do you keep having a go at the fans just cos they support their team?. We all know how bad we are doing away from home, but a team is for life not just for the good times. If you don’t want to go that’s your perogative, don’t keep having a pop at the loyal supporters there is no need for it.

There is part of me relishing the fact that we could be in for a relegation battle rather than us meandering into mid table obscurity, where matches have no importance. It was nice last season to sit and watch the last few games knowing the results didn’t matter, but on the other it was a tad boring.
Mid table obscurity would be nice just once in a while, it years since we had it.
This promotion, relegation, play off lark isn’t good for an old fucker like me every season, mixed with Cup Finals, semi’s and quarters finals, its exhausting.

What a journey!I can’t help thinking we was in this position last season and Cook pulled a rabbit out the hat.
We are Latics and always seem to defy the odds, its what we do. Quite a few wrote us off with 20 games to go last season and constantly posted on here that we would drop into the bottom 3 and stay there, we didn’t. More of us this season are saying we are doomed under Cook including me so let’s see if the odds can be defied again. Its obvious that the owners, Royles and Jackson are behind Cook, and a sacking is off the table, otherwise he would have gone after the Luton game. He is here for the season whether we like it or not, so let’s all hope that the rabbit is not super glued in the hat.From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!I was expecting a classic “after the Lord Mayor’s show” performance with Naismith and Dunkley tripping over each other. But that didn’t happen thankfully. Confidence is so fragile at the moment I’m just glad we didn’t lose in the last minute, pick up any injuries or get anyone sent off before we head into the Bermuda Triangle on Monday.Two games unbeaten!!
That probably didn’t happen cos Dunkley didn’t play??
