The very fact that some of our “fans” have felt the need to trawl through other teams message boards to look for more negatives about Bobby and our club just takes the biscuit.

Just because LMB is too embarrassed to pen his own relegation song this year, he has resorted to letting one of our bitterest rival clubs do it for him.
Then he tries to convince us that he was looking at it from a balanced view.
Just ask yourself LMB if every post on that thread and not just 50% of them, had said something positive about Bobby would you have wet your pants and posted the link?

Shakes my head in total disbelief.

I really struggle with this notion that posters quote that poor Bob” tried to sign 3 players but what can he do when they don’t want to come “.They dont want to come because 3 seasons in he has eroded what profile we built in the previous 4.He is the manager,he chose the players,he choses tactics so surely he is responsible for us propping up the table and the reason why players see us as dead man walking…

Or, their agent gets told they can have £25k per week (£15 if we get relegated) when they know thay can go to West Brom or Fulham or even Bolton and get £40k.

Not hard really; surprised you struggle with it
WBA chairman Jeremy Peace is renowned for his prudence in what he pays in wages to the playing staff, something that west brom fans have complained about for years, Martinez is a victim of his own lack of success – why on earth would any player want to commit to a guaranteed relegation – its not as though they can top their wages up with any win bonus as a consolation.
Hey up “guaranteed relegation” your lining yourself up for another foot in mouth season.

As I’ve said before, its gonna be tough but we can do it. The likes of Bolton, Wolves and Blackburn supporters have also got twitchy bums, just like the array of defeatists on here.

Call me paranoid but sometimes I get the impression that my chosen profession as a window cleaner is a humble one at that to you because you keep stating it !! How does £40 an hr sound !! ;)

I mention it only because I know what it is. If I new youm wer a brain surgeon or a bus driver I’d mention that too, precisely because none of them qualify you to know run a football club and appoint its staff. I find it fantastially arrogant whe people say “we have told the club what they need to do but they dont listen”.

I bet you’d be mightily brassed off if Jonathan Jackson rocked up in Leyland and told you that you should be using different ladders anc chamois leathers. ;)
Is he’s contract up this july? , why is there no mention of any talks? .,

I’m sure there is plenty time for that between now and the end of season to get the talks going. You never know if we defy the odds and stay up he may sign a new contract.
Rodallega may do the same now he realises the likes of Barcelona are not after him and the likes of Fulham and QPR thinks he’s worth jack shyte. :woohoo:

You forgot to mention we need a :silly: new MANAGER

The thing is we have suggested RM having an experienced right hand man and we have raised concerns over several short comings that the World and his dog can see but the powers that be have felt fit to leave things as they are ! The crowds are dropping and if the powers that be don’t realize that a football club is about the fans then they don’t deserve to receive the fans hard earned cash or cash that could be put to other uses !
I think you may find that the crowds have dropped since the very first season, its not just happened during the Martinez reign. I know quite a few lads who got bored after the first 2-3 seasons once they had seen the likes of United, Arsenal and Chelsea grace the DW once or twice.

You’re beginning to sound like Dave from Skem on the bragging stakes on how much you earn. For the record, my window cleaner charges £2.00 for the downstairs windows and £3.50 for the lot. He reckons he’s not on £7 an hour by the time he’s done the cleaning and took just as long trying to collect his money. Perhaps you have set up an account whereby all your customers can pay you via paypal or DD. B)

Will he be back for the weekend seeing as Senegal has crashed out of the ACN??

Yip according to Bobby, apparently only flew back to England early hours of Monday morning and team were on the way down to London same day so left him out for the Spurs game.

I don’t know much about the Watford lad, but Andy Johnson would have been a good signing.

Great player and goal scorer AJ in his day, but been dogged by injuries last couple of seasons. Might have made our medical team work for their money for the first time since Steve “the twisted sock” McMillan warmed the treatment table. :woohoo:

If only Bobby would have said that we would come out of this transfer window stronger than we have in previous ones, he’d have been bang on and negated the need for this debate.
One positive coming out of yesterday is that Bobby / DW stood firm on the promise not to let Moses and McCarthy go. There’s not been many windows since we got into the EPL where we have not lost our best player right at the death.
I like the rest of you was a bit miffed that no players came in yesterday, although I do sympathise with Bobby when he had a moan at the transfer window closing on the same night as a game. I was hoping that he may have some second choices lined up that he could pick up without a fuss, but it wasn’t to be.

If you had been listening to what Bobby has been saying about the transfer window for weeks, you’d have picked up that he feels it needs a big deal to go through in order for other dealings to kick in. If say United had made 2 or 3 big signings there is then a potential for some of their fringe players to be released or go out on loan, which then allows the receiving clubs do the same and the player market is suddenly flooded.
Has it happens the “big deal” didn’t go through, therefore the clubs are left in a position just like any other companies, i.e. with no real cash flow.

I don’t want to get the Darksiders nibbling here but if we had captured the Watford defender and Andy Johnson, I’m sure it would have led to an outcry on here of “who’s he!” and ” this mons past it!”

Only one comment Richcrx, how the hell can you even contemplate leaving out our best performing midfield player by a country mile.
Momo Diame has the makings of a world class player and I hope we get the chance to see him develop into that whilst playing in the premier league with Wigan Athletic for a few more years. goodpost

Thrown the towel in, FFS we have had at least two bids accepted for players only to be shunned by them probably due to our current league position. What do you want Whelan to do kidnap um and let them loose once they have had a Latics kit forced on them.

I was hoping like the rest of you that we might have had 3 or 4 new faces in today,as its turned out we have one but not lost anybody. That is one positive from this window, we could have easily lost a few of our key players but Whelan has backed his manager allowing him to keep hold of the likes of Moses, Diame and Mccarthy. goodpost

In what form will it appear tonight, darkside moans ? better second half performance ? playing a big spending top of the league team ? personal insults ? starvation of funds ? little club punching above its weight ? referee ? wanky smiley faces ? bad coaches ? deadwood ?

One thing is for sure – It won’t be Bobby’s fault, that will be the only constant theme.

Beaten by the far superior team over the 90 mins. Did you really expect us to turn this Spurs team over?.Please don’t get your knickers in a twist over this defeat.
