What a journey!Another great post from the darkside.

What a journey! What about having a section with various designs of 3 piece suites?.
That would allow the armchair fans to actually go to the game. They could come with a remote control glued to the chair arm, and executive sections with pouffe’s and recliners. For god sake give up on this nonsense, times have moved on, live with it FFS.!

What a journey! The fact of the matter is the system aint working :roll:THE TEAM ARN’T TAKING THEIR CHANCES!! :angry-banghead:

What a journey!I bet if we went into even more detail and looked at home attendances in relation to were you live, we would discover that in terms of actual wiganers, Latics are way in front. Most people I know who support the lodgers, come from Chorley, Leyland, Preston and Bolton due to lack of egg chasing teams in those areas.
The attendance bragging rights are tightly in the hands of the blue 3/4 of our good town. Live with it!! :snooty:

What a journey! So what you seem to be saying is, if we change tactics, the players who are missing chance after chance each game may start scoring? :angry-banghead:
We all have our own views on this and rightly so, what we all must understand though is….. and listen to me carefully….BOBBY WON’T CHANGE HIS SYSTEM!! :snooty:

What a journey! If you read the posts we are discussing the situation about not playing two up front being the reason we are not scoring goals.
My point is we ARE creating chances with this formation, but not purrin um away, you pilluck!
Seems like you are actually in the “don’t have a fekin clue about tactics ” catagory.

What a journey!I remember that on at least 3 occasions we had players running in on goal with just the keeper to beat.
How many chances of that ilk would any system create? :think:It’s just about finishing, a man on horseback can see that!.

What a journey!I was just about to say something on the lines ofGet your tin hat out Hindley – you are going to get battered by the light side for even thinking that we play 2 up front
How dare you have a go at Bobs tactics and the fact we cant put the ball in the netLooks like it has already started though
Did we or did we not create enough chances to win the game yesterday?
It’s not a case of the lightside defending Bobby’s tactics, its about putting the case forward that the system he plays does create chances.
You could put 4 centre forwards on the pitch, but if they don’t take their chances……. :snooty:If you follow Hindley blue’s logic lets put those 4 centre forwards on and quadrouple our chances of scoring eh?
The game is a lot more complex than that I’m afraid, some of us seem to understand it, others apparently don’t. ;)Shall I get my tin hat out Tea Bag Head? :angry-banghead:

What a journey!how exactly have you ragdolled me you clown ?you are stuggling a the BOTTOM of the league with the trap door looming
what exactly do you have to shout about ??
Seems ironic that the quote “you clown” was used by Mr T in the A-Team and you have “Missed a T” from the word “at”
See what I mean rag dolled, you have been!!

Booooooooooo…guire out!, guire out!

What a journey!Thought we played quite well today and IMO definately edged the game and probably should have won it. But here lies our problem we don’t score enough goals and I fear although things have improved slightly we don’t have enough games left to survive. Here’s a question for anybody if a team is struggling for goals would not playing two up front double your chances of getting a goal??????? Not rocket science IMO.
No it wouldn’t!! :naughty:
The system bobby plays is all about possession, winning the midfield battle.
Once this battle is won you can then feed your wide men and get players supporting the attack.
Do you not think we created enough chances yesterday against a good champions league outfit?? Just check the stats.Play 2 out and out strikers from the start and you’ll find the likes of Modric, Jenas and co would have run riot and their front 2 would have got the number of chances that would have killed us off.
Give Defoe 3-4 chances I’ll guarantee he scores at least one.Our problem is not the system, its simply the standard of finishing. :angry-soapbox:

What a journey! And by the same token do you believe its anything to do with tactics that we didn’t put any of the several chances away that we had today. Thought Bobby’s tactics were bang on:-
1) Moses was on his last legs again after 65 mins having put in one hell of a shift.
2) Cleverley was causing all sorts of problems cutting in from the left [remember the Gomez save]
3) He needed to freshen things up at the end and bringing on 2 forwards in Sammon and Di Santo almost did the trick [Sammon’s one on one with the keeper]I wonder if you moan for moanings sake!!
“It looked nothing like a Spurs team who were there for the taking”, they had a superb team out today who were all battling hard to get a start on Tuesday night.
A great effort from the boys today and a point that might prove vital come the end of may.
