My advice is take what these dingles are saying with a pinch of salt.
Can you remember the pish taking we got from the barcodes when both Bramble and Zog signed?.Remember the thankyous we got from the Brummies when forking out the millions on Heskey?
A change of club can lead to a player gaining fresh confidence and the partnership sometimes “simply works”.
As for lack of speed, the better centere halfs don’t need it, they read the game and make the tackle and very rarely after go chasing their man as the dingles suggest. JT for one and Mathew Upson for another are slower than Lisa Riley pulling a rickshaw with big dady in it. :shock: :o ;)

What a journey!I did notice Kirkland getting all animated at one point in the second half, when a Chelsea mon ran unchallenged into the box. If there was any cause for a good bollukin during those first two games, kirky should have been the main recipient. :roll:

If martinez goes then so be it but nobody can criticise Whelan and the exciting journey he has taken us on since buying(or should I say bailing us out from going in to administration/non league) 12 years ago
I have been watching our club since it came into the league and virtually every season has been played right up to the last game – we have only had one relegation in all that time but have been involved in some great end of season excitement
Being a Wigan fan has never been boring – I keep coming because you never know what is around the corner with our great little club
Coming from behind to beat Arsenal to losing to Blackpool – great fun and long may it continue

WTF is all that about. At least our fans did have something to do the early walk for. It’s not that they had to beat the saturday afternoon shopping traffic or out. That is a total joke and confirms that this town is and always will be blue !! :o

What a journey!From my experience (in the South from Championship – PL Season 2 and then the East since), the West only get active when the referee(s) make a speculative decision. They never start the chanting going and, if anything, they kill it dead once it reaches them.So if your season ticket is in the West, please prove me wrong, because that’s my lasting impression of you!
(Currently ES3).
Perhaps its because we are all middle aged, beer bellied life long followers of Latics in the main.
We’ve been there, done it and got the black eyes and missing teeth to prove it. We’ll leave it up to you young whipper snappers in the east to start things off if you don’t mind and we will join in if we remember to bring our inhalers to the match.Sorry must go my horlicks is bubbling over the pan. :geek:

I’m sure that was Dennis Lawrence with the blue latics tracky on working with the lads in the warm up. I remember the big lazoom scoring against us for wrexham quite a few years back. If he’s our new defensive coach, then yesterdays performance says it all. :roll:
