You never saw the impact Roberts made when he came on then Donny? He was MOM when we got promoted at Fleetwood. As for Bruce how many players of his calibre would be happy playing a bit part at a club when they could play regular at another club? Let’s embrace them both, only 11 can start a game, they know they won’t yet want to be part of our squad.

What a journey!Agree thought he was immense in our previous league one campaign. Gave 100% a good leader. Unfortunately had a poor run of injuries and lost his place to two quality center halves. What a journey!A lad I worked with had a trial at Latics, was invited to an arranged game but sat on the bench for 75 mins or so. Came on bagged 3 goals and had 2 more superbly saved by the keeper. His excited parents were told after the game that he wasn’t what they were looking for. They see things we don’t Dave, that’s why they are paid scouts and we are not. As I said no disrespect, I’m just trying to give you a reason as to why the lad was overlooked.
