In all seriousness….

Who’s arsed? I’ve got my tickets, and people will have this week to get a ticket,if they want one and if they haven’t already done so. I don’t care whether we have 15000 or 22478 on.

Apparently you having posted 4 times on this thread and having a guess of 17935. Tee hee.

Watched the game on line and although same for both sides the pitch was a mess and the wind was a spoiler. There were no play backs on the stream I watched so only saw it once. It was a nailed on pen near he end. Can’t remember who it was but he was dragged to the ground two yards out.

You could look at it another way. He’s a gambler who’s made a ponful of money. Whether it be selling bog rolls or being good at poker it doesn’t matter where the money comes from as long as it comes. I feel a bit twitchy also, but I’ve felt far more twitchier watching Latics over 5 decades. Let’s not get our knickers in a twist until these guys get their feet under the table and give us their objectives and aims for our the club.

My great concern is this.

Say it all goes a bit ‘Hong Kong’ and he ends up leaving us in the deep doodah, and in danger.

Anybody who isn’t worried… You should be.

I share the same concerns as yourself on this one vat. And i’m not buying into this belief that if it all goes hong kong, then WAFC will become a supporters run club.

I hope i’m wrong, but i too am worried.

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned anything about the new owners coming in & changing the colours of our shirts or nicknames a la victor tan.
Red and white hoops?
That might remind our gambler of a pile of coloured chips on a green baize, so might not be pie in the sky just yet.
I’ve been reading a lot about this organisation and the worry for me is they don’t appear to really know what they want and have been like this since their inception.
First it was internet provision, then they dabbled in film making, moving onto hotels and leisure, plus a load more ventures in between. This could probably be a toe dipping exercise, which if it doesn’t work, will result in us being dropped and left to wind down. Who knows at this stage, I’m just glad it’s being sorted before Big Dave pops his clogs. Whatever happens, I’ll still be watching um be it Premier League or Wigan Ammy League.

What do you mean Rugby dont play on it? They play on it from now untill October with a short break in summer which isnt long enough.
Rugby is certainly played in summer at St Helens and Rochdale.
The pitch is nackered through too much sport.
Manchester Uniteds Carrington training ground is built on a peat bog and its pitches are amazing.

I’ve said this a few times, the pitch at the sports arena less than 50 yards away from the DW is always in superb nick. Surely this must also be built on boggy ground. Funnily enough I was delivering some training there the other week and the chubsters were training on there. They kept me amused whilst I was having my dinner. The groundsman was pulling his hair out, he had told them to move around the entirety of the pitch but they stayed in one place and it was looking like a paddy field.

Probably right there dnr.

I agree with the parents not being able to shout things jr. Thats what coaches are for.

Fair enough, but a bit of encoragement from a parent to their child?, we shout at the pros, man on!, ger it in row z! etc etc. Same thing only more grown up. Far too regimental at an early age for me, and the stats prove that very few of these 10 year olds make it their teens before being fired off. So the system is not working, even for the big clubs who have the cream of the crop to pick from.

My nephew’s lad was training with Man City amd Man Utd, he’s 10. At Man City they come out to music in lines then do the shaking hands bit. The parents aren’t allowed to shout out to their kids it’s a circus.
He ended up signing for Bury and at the tender age of 10, has a £6000 transfer fee.
Luckily his parents can afford to take him places other parents can’t so that’s the end of their careers.

Deadly from 6 yard out

The knack is getting to 6 yards out then anticipating where and when the crosses are going to come in.

Jimmy Greaves and Dennis Law scored ponfuls of goals and never left the oppositions 6 yard box all 90mins. :woohoo:

The goal that Grigg scored Saturday in my opinion, is just as satisfying as the Lee Evans thunderbolts. In fact it is more satisfying due to the fact we have got round the back of a team.

Is that right Tez? Was wandering myself how many tickets you was allowed per season ticket?

3 posts and joined in 2013!!!! asking how many tickets you can get, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more.

I bought 10 just on my season ticket. Didn’t have to assign to anybody else, which I’ve had to do for big games in the past.

The question was in connection with purchasing other season card seats on the same log in. This has to be done individually. You can buy as many tickets as you want in none season ticket seats.

Checking the latest position on seats bought, it is looking like about 10-12,000 home crowd.

MOM in my opinion up to going off. I then thought Max Power after 90 mins was MOM. It would have been Powell but he didn’t do any of that ball drag back and side foot thingymibob so lost a few points.

You have to get them individually. It only recognises your client code as its just yours that is available to you. It’s no problem I got three by loging into the other two people’s client code. Bit of a bummer it you want them delivered it will be 2 dabs per ticket. Your best bet is to use the e- ticketing option and print them off at home.
Hope this helps.
